yes you are right...i have tested these setting from Jan., 2015 and its not surviving...its crashing..i increased the step order to 400 but even after that it was almost blowing up and then survive at last moment...i seted up lot 0.01 in 10k account when backtesting so actually not worth it...we need to wait till we get part 2 completed ea...

My point exactly: progressive lots + trending pairs (or trending market conditions) are not compatible with this EA. I believe it can make 10-20% day using conservative risk management and fixed lotsite. I recommend EURUSD 0.05 lots against US$ 500 balance (so that's 0.01 lots per each US$ 100).

It won't be a staggering performance, though good enough to move into live trading

Yes, this EA was not written based on the initial concept of Part 2 by remon. please wait for part 2 EA which remon is working on.

the test so far looks ok for me on EU,
30 points (3 pip) grid steps, 5000$ equity, 0.1 lots, progressive.
judging from what I seen the last 2 days in term of DD, max position size, I think 0.01/100$ with 1 pip steps still very opportunistic.
there is always, always another trade!!

It's open BUY and SELL at the same time, how can you lose in trend? yeah you won't make Profit,

but you won't lose much either.. The only problem during trend is make sure size of your Equity

can withstand many open orders and to achieve that DON'T use 10 pips STEP on pairs like GBPJPY, use

30-40 pips spread between orders at least.

but if you use a much more stepdollar, keep 0.1 lot and change 10 to 50,100 or more,will less profit but more safe.
