What do you think of this plot I made?

My own ego or believing/expecting what a price should do rather then what it's actually doing applies not only to entries but also to exists. My thinking in terms of where it will terminate or reverse is my fantasy rather then the reality of what is actually happening. Don't force my views on where price may reverse because you do not know where the price is going. Unless target is reached of price flow gives ypu a good reason to exit trade the plan and not your ego.
I exited at area of pull back cuz the price went flat and made me nervous, as a result i missed a downward move worth $400 but that's alright cuzz there are only two trades, good trades and lesson trades.there will be many more.

Seems to be correct, but it's not correct.

The correct shape is swing low-swing high-swing low or swing high-swing low-swing high again.
The "normal" pitchfork contain 3 point, 3 pivots. A&B&C pivots.
If the A pivot is a swing high, the b must be swing low and the c must be swing high again.

Hops it's not really a requirement, it all comes down to which pivot describe the price best, but they should be pivots of significance if that makes any sence
. Also colghan capital image you have, they trade ML differently from Tim.

Having tried both services my vote goes toward tim market maps course. They place hight emphasis on price action and reading market structure which is the most important requirement when it cones to trading. If you can read the chart you can trade any ta tool any market any time frame
At $179 a month the knowledge you gain is worth 100 times that. Just my opinion.

Bartley good chart. I took a crack at it. What here is how I would approach it I'd wit to the green bar which represent upside presure to be taken out with new high who would signal chnage in price flow then go long on retest of ML. From my experience, a lot of time we will get a nice presure bar with good separation and then price will but thrugh below the ML on the following bar

I am new to this "pitchfork" method. I would try going long at 1.08919

Pitchfork needs to anchored on a pivot.

Hi Anton - yes I was a bit to quick to place a trade I think. I didn't take a couple of trades late Weds afternoon uk time because of impending news announcements from the US. They would have been very profitable and I think I was not wanting to 'miss out' again - funny how one's mind works. As a rule I don't use sliding parallels because I think they're too subjective - one can always find one - but I saw that bar closing back on it's high and found a sliding parallel - funny how one's mind works. Also I've been watching this chart for a while - sometimes the longer I watch something the less clearly I see - Shane at Market Geometry talks alot about seeing what's there rather than what we want to be there, or think is there.

Despite all that I've just opened the chart on my laptop at home and the lines I have there I still like - they suggest a better entry at an energy point but it's basically the same trade - what I don't like is that run of bars with lower highs and waiting for a break of that, as you suggest, would probably have been wiser.

Have to wait and see.

I have same issue. I have to force myself t slow down to obsorb all od the information otherwise I slip over stuff and notice it when it too late.
