No reason for GAP at the top or bottom both are valid.

I have to laugh at myself sometimes . . . it was really only today that I began to fully understand how to apply Bernhard's CS meter. It was his drawing the short horizontal and vertical lines identifying good currency opportunities that the light bulb went on. This short video I made of my discovery may help others struggling to put the indicator to good use. Basic rules include entering trades at or around session openings (Tokyo, London, New York Forex and NYSE work for me). Allow at least TWO bars after those openings to begin defining a trend direction for a currency. Insist that one currency be above the zero line and the other below it. If in doubt, select currencies that have the steepest slopes. Feel free to give me feedback where I may be going wrong after watching this short video: https://db.tt/jCkUS9zO

Hello Lightheart, just wanted to say Thank You for the video, it was very nice. And Bernhard, I can't Thank You enough for sharing your indicator with us. I have only been using it for 2 or three weeks, but it has become my favorite indicator. It very quickly points out weak and strong currencies and which pairs you want to trade.

Yeh I don't know how to post a video, I meant not as a link but insert as a "video"
You may post the indicator which print the vertical line at same time in different charts.

Yes there are nuances of course. First check higher TF then trade zones and slope of angle and timing.

If market momentum is rising it means GAP outside directions or trend-trades are supported.
If market momentum is falling it means GAP inside directions or reversal-trades are supported.

One more spam and scam. I never found any signal service profitable. All of them suppress the draw down and the risk taken against profits. You have to pay a higher spread and they earn on each trade if it is a win or a loss on both they win, so that's why they are not interested to make you win just to open trades regardless of profit or not. This is the truth about signal providers.

And I realized that I needed to use all characters in the display at the same time. That's the difference between the 2 screens at the same time

It looks you understand the basics and the trade went good.
But the indicator you are using does not look correct. The 2 lines are to much symmetrical and do not show the real sentiment. (first picture)

GBPJPY would have been an outside GAP against an inside GAP. This can work out but it is not the best setup.
Market was already active before Europe Open so it is not the condition for LO breakout trades. For LO breakout you like see flat market 2 hours before Europe open. The sea is already wavy. That's why CS here show no clear directions. Still you can confirm your trade with a smaller TF.
Be patient ! A good setup will come.
