Great play. When i exited i thought i was being a coward but it worked out for the best. I saw price bounce from 0830 and stalling around 0860 so i exited. Ended up getting out at 1.0871 due to spread. Nothing wrong with taking what you can during uncertainty.

if euro/dollar gets close to 111.60 i'm gonna get in the ring with them (short) should be good for atleast 100 pips from there even on a modest retrace even.

So now that some time has passed lets see..

Gold is up
Oil dropped
US 10 Year is down
Ftse and DJ dropped
Eur/Usd is still goin up

What should we make of this.

Flat on all positions, way to much uncertainty for me. CallING it a week, had a pretty good week trading u/j and e/u. I'll post a summary when I get a chance, about to catch a flight. Good luck to all.

Okay,i think the reason I registered on FF is no more here cos i've been using FF since 2014(I know it's not long)......sincerely,geppy az boosted my confidence in believing in my analysis via his weekly analysis (even when our analysis are opposite)......so,i hereby start the campaign #BringBackGeppy (his ego az done a lot positively in some traders instinct)
I know i've not been posting but i'm very sure I make profits (which is the reason most of us are here),so let's bring back dat dude dat boosts dat confidence(don't know about you though)

mate i couldnt agree more ,i do miss you Geppy i trade the same and dont need you for anything more than the huge positive influence and your incredible no noncencse aproach to fools and their antics ,to have somebody applying themselves to the task as you do is truly apreciated by myself and i would say many others here .So brother thumbs up to #bring back Geppy

A lot of people agree. There was too much noise, a swing trade by its very nature is a slow set up, mostly waiting, not nicking in and out and the thread got polluted by a few people blowing their own trumpets, too many trades going on etc etc. I know we all like to be doing something but this thread was about something bigger, the long play for big pips. I have followed threads on FF for about 8 years and have found good ones before which get polluted by ego's , anyone remember Cloggie? This one is simple, look for a long term set up and wait for it. Yes make useful observations and helpful comments but the original plan was good so stick to it and keep the thread alive.

Hey guys, what's with all the hate... If I were Geppy, I would do what ForexKong had done, and that is to start a blog, charge a small fee (or do it for free), and use his popularity here to attract an audience... I still regularly visit ForexKong's kongs site. Good luck Geppy.

well theirs a few points im going to be watching on the usdjpy. 113.82/92 area and 112.45ish also (113.53 could also be resistance). position got stopped out with a small profit but that was wasted on a short euro position . so today sucked for me. worse thing is seeing a trendline at the top that would have been great time to take profit and wait to see if it broke. price action even did its normal retrace before it went down but i didnt even notice because i was watching the the euro's turbo charged move . it seems all the central banks are out of bullets, they can create liquidity but the market is in a bubble everywhere so theirs nothing they can do.

Yeah i'm "in like Flynn", 2 trades atm. It's a crazy Friday here for me, i'm out and about and can't post a chart but remember those 2 gold lines on my post yesterday...

Your 4h chart actually looks bullish but the bearish D1 and the tide of the trend should see us into peee-lenty of positive pips before weeks out.

There's a few fair dinkum ripper trades brewing nicely for next week from that ECB spike-athon! But that's next week...

EDIT: I don't have it in front of me but have a look at the W1 and you will see that there is a major PPZ at around the 128.3 or somewhere there. It's a long way away but if PA dictates further shorting next week/week after that, that is an area i am very interested in! More on that another day but have a look anyways. Sorry for my rambling guys but i have had a few red wines (hic)!

I think Geppy is just taking an opportunity for a break. After adopted a puppy, attended company functions and friend's wedding over such short period of time. He's apparently tired. I am sure he will be back. Never in my widest dreams that Geppy would abandon his own baby.
