If you're asking whether I found my holy grail robot or not, I didn't, and surely will not.

The main purpose of developing all these robots (shared and non-shared, and more to come), IS for testing purposes.
So if I had a system idea, or I learned about one, which seems to make sense, I like to try it out using back and forward testing.

I like all the robots I developed, even the ugly ones who might deserve some attention, for a simple makeup or a deep surgery using my developed skills.

When it comes to live trading, I will not give full control of my real accounts to any robot.
Robots and Indicators are tools that should assist me in my live trading, but will not make decisions instead of me.

My trading philosophy is to Trade the Fundamentals Technically. Robots will not be able to do that.
So the plan is to study and understand economics, define short/long term sentiment, and trade it technically using robots,indicators or merely naked charts.
There is no easy short cut to successful trading.

We develop tools that can save our time, do things that we can not easily do (multi-year testing, analyzing multiple currencies, or time frames, issuing/closing multiple orders in a second ... etc).

Hi abokwaik,

In the settings for 2ma1rsi, the stop loss is in pips or points? if I key in 50, how does the EA know I'm referring to 50 pips or 50 points? I'm asking because i noticed one of my trades was auto closed after a SL of 5 pips was hit when I meant it to be 50 pips. TIA.

What do you think would be the best indicator to rule out loss trades against trend, maybe a 200 ema to filter trades or something? any ideas
Would be cool to have one in the early bird EA

Depending on your mt4 terminal. Most brokers offer 5 digits nowadays. If your broker offers 5 digits for EURUSD (eg. 1.09325) then what you enter is expressed by the EA as Points. Otherwise it's Pips for 4 digit brokers.

The basic idea for early bird is non - directional. I can provide a customisable MA filter if you like.

Fantastic, just buy above 200ema sell below 200 ema 1 hour chart should be adequate
I also use this EA u might like, got tons of stuff i don't know if its editable or not

Have been setup the ft for both 2ma1rsi and roadrunner since 1st Mar. 2ma1rsi is taking the lead of 6.6% profit for a week. will give it a live ft after 2 months demo if still profitable. thanks to khalil.

I think abowaik is right, this strategy is basically not trend sensitive and hence such a filter not practical.
I don't know whether Early Bird is able to make money at all. In the worst scenario you may lose 6 times, but in the best scenario you will get just 3 wins. Thus, you must catch a high hit rate and besides some very good home runs from the trailed trade in order to be successful, possible but unlikely...IMHO.

Is there a way TwoMA1RSI trade within a candle as soon as we have an OB/OS signal instead of waiting for the candle to close?

Have you stopped improvement research on this robot? We have good results.

How did you get this to trade? It's not opening any trades for me no matter what I do. The only way I can get it to trade is if I disabled the ZigZag indicator filter.
