Yeah not that volatile that moment. I guess there is a lot of indecision waiting for Draghi to speak on the 10th.

As I liked Geppy's weekly analysis here is some points I want to mention regarding the Euro/Usd: First point is that EU have been in a trading range since the low of 1.046 made on March 13 2015 and since that the big range was the 1.05 area and 1.14 area, which means one year trading range. i also favor an upmove but i think it could pullback to 107.40's area before taking off to +120 or even 130 on spike. i think by summer time the euro could have a spike high into low 130's. the current low last week was one spot i was looking for also 108.28. i didnt wanna buy it since it was a week before the ecb announcement.

Same result as you still. Any luck?

Is it broker dependent? Maybe the FXCM people get a different MA result in MT4 as well.

You should definately be able to add an EMA with MT4.

Can you change where it says simple, to exponential on the MA settings?
Or sometimes its under a totally differrent indicator in the list, just called exponential moving average.

It's Monday! Historically Mondays are low volume in comparison to the rest of the week.

yes i know its monday but price action on multiple pairs are just bouncing around not doing much at all and seem to drop and rise at any given price like theirs no orders set. maybe im just antsy lol

got stopped out on cad -45, took another long on it 133.05 thought the 200 day was 132.92. new stop 132.80. gave up 15 pips for not double checking charts before going to bed.

oil is at 37 which is where i thought we'd top out but this sucker just doesnt wanna give at all.

probably has to do with settings such as time and weekends....sundays merged with mondays and stuff like that

So im not so sure on it hitting 164.8ish but who knows...perhaps we get a base here to finish the day and create the space?? Im going short at the touch of the line

I am able to add it, I just get different results than Geppy and the others. For me CAD closed 130 pips below 200 MA and 143 pips below eMA,
no matter the settings, I just get a different MA or eMA graph, although price and candles are the same.

Thanks. Not quite right where I said, but if you're smart with your risk/reward and scaling into trades then you're doing well this morning.

I'm long with an average just below 161.00 so I'm happy as a clam right now. Setting target to the 50% daily fib retracement as per my outlook.

Time to sit back and wait for it now

that is weird. if you have a ruler or something that counts periods you could just run a fib retracement 50% of 200 periods etc to get the simple moving average.

EU H4 about to test 100 & 200 MA, 38.2 %fib and the trend line.
Are we there yet for shorts? also Daily testing 200MA
