{quote} Before {image} Price reacted more violently then expected but all the same , did kind of expected. I was looking for a little bit more of a correction tho. It turned at the 50%. So this is kind of what I'm expecting now.... I wouldn't be trading on this particular expectation tho, I don't have much confidence in this one. Tricky spot. Wait for the finish {image}

Your analysis is fine but it goes way beyond what Mr. Pip does in general. Yours take into account multiple timeframe while Mr. Pip's analysis is in the moment on the current timeframe and there is no prediction while in your analysis you seem to want to project too far in the future what price might do.

{quote} Hi Earleone, the trailing stop that Mr Pip uses is: Retracement from LH (in your example) to the swing low (NSL in your example). The trailing stop is placed between the 50% and 32.8% retracement. As the move continues downward, you move the retracement to the Lowest low, and move your stop accordingly.

I was watching the "Putting it all together video again https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=odnAh5kRqN0&ebc=ANyPxKpVBosuYPZHgmKU06JtJbErg0bzz70DC50YiqxahT7LdK7TeYlx11PAP0GIAU0pV9Oo01H1N1ONBR-oLJ6NO36G9PP_Zw. Around 22 minutes out in the video Damian also change the trailing to the top of retracement and start new trailing. So it was actually my question and I did the same as he did with my trail for the gbpusd trade.

Hello Traders,

Luckily I was able to save the week and end up with some profit for the week . That was a very tough first half of the week. This week we are going to discuss harmonics and get into some money management. Sorry for the lack posting but had personal thing to take care of during the week. I'm looking forward to a much better week and remember to follow the process some tough trading days does not mean anything needs to be changed. We are masters of price action at this point and adding harmonics will add the icing to the cake. Take care and talk to you tomorrow.
If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

Thanks it was a tough one but staying true to a process that aligns you with the order flow is how it's done.

thanks for your input. Lately, I've been seeing to far in the future so I started a second business as a psychic. I just bought this weird shape crystal ball to help me. It was installed in the bathroom. I think its broken tho. It keeps saying everything's going to shit. I'll call support on Monday.

Good to hear that you recovered the week. I have a quick question on your 40 pip hard stop. How did you come up with the 40 number as a hard stop for the max amount of risk you were going to take on? Just wondering if they was some back testing with 40 vs 30 or 25?

and do you have a max profit for the day? say like 150 pips and call it a day.

Thanks in advance

I just open the blog and yours was the first comment to read. It's so good to start the morning with a lough. This is the spirit that we need to start a new trading day.

thx for that.

So, here is my take on E/U.

Thank You Sigill for the nice work of summarizing and putting all the important stuff in one pdf document. It's like a trading journal helpful not only to new beginners but also to more experienced traders. I'm going to read it and keep it as a valuable reference material to review Damians methodology and market analysis, and trading opportunities. good work.

E/U seems to finally start increasing momentum to the upside. Let's see if we break that NSH in short term order flow. That would suggest a PB to the upper zone. In principle the trend is down but we can't enter here as these are retail prices. Too late for short, too risky for longs...

Hello Camry,

What separates good traders from bad ones is the development of a special skill set. A great attribute that good traders have is the ability to pay attention to detail. It's is important to pick up the detail that price action is telling us to make the decisions we make as traders to Buy, Sell, and manage trades. I hope you learn to develop these skills.

The first post is updated and has been for quite some time. The first sentence contains the link on where to start. This is exactly what you are asking for but are not sure why you missed it. Any way I'm looking forward to your progress and development.
If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
