Due to the nature of its underlying calculation, the indicator repaints continuously. Of course that doesn't mean that it can't be used profitably, but a lot of folk are skeptical of repainting indicators.

thats the big challenge ! EXIT! the only thing i advise you is when u test a setfile and see open trades go on chart and see where that was open try to find market logic if you can ( not your logic). when order is closed go on chart and see where was closed and find again that tricky market logic.i learned this days from a smart guy that general view on the market is wrong,so i must think up side down for a period.

Thanks for the heads-up Hanover......

I have been using it by identifying rising and declining pairs in the M5, M15 and M30 periods......Scalping 10 pips at a time....

The HM Modoki can be used as confirmation....

The below is an example of the setups i look for....

Understood.

However, I can't reply intelligently as I've never used RS for scalping (instead, I use strength to estimate sentiment/flows on the H4 and longer TFs), and I'm not familiar with HM Modoki.

But if you can make it work profitably, that's great.

Looks nice....maybe this version of currency strength with alerts will help with your new dashboard. It was advised to attach it to M5 chart with currency that moves fast like GBP/JPY.

Thanks for the indicator, but i will stick to Hanover' RS indicator......

The MTF function suites short and long term trends......though i mostly use short term....

Besides...if it aint broke don't fix it.....

Hello GVC and all the creators of this dashboard..
i am new to this forum...i have already downloaded the dashboord and it awesome....since i am new and i have read a couple of pages of this thread but i am unable to get my answers..i would really appreciate if any one of you could help me out.

firstly what is teh minimum amount needed to starrt basket trading?
what size lots should be bought?
what about the leverage ,how much should it be kept? 1:n?

also if we are trading a basket what is minimum margin level that we should have so if the basket goes the other way round , we can still hold on the account?




also are there any rules that i am supposed to follow in order to gain pips using this dashboard?

Hi GVC,

if you are looking for new solutions for the new dash, maybe you should look at excel speedometer2. If you can move it to the MT4 would be great. This indicator is not attached with any TF. It shows the real strength of the currency. The biggest disparities are indications indices when the market is in a trend of "momentum"

I have decided not to include the RecentStrength indicator into the Dashboard...... in order for users to use any indicator in their sub-window....

Dashboard - RecentStrength, Indicator RecentStrength and Template !!!RS on first post...

The dash only trades manually........
