I had 3 full losers, 1 partial loser and 1 current trade open (not a runner yet)
All were H1 or H4
Settings default except yes to close half at BE
Oanda

Oh I also had 2 trades that were opened and then closed within 5 seconds.

I don't close half and my autotrend is 3sema. I tried the others and I feel that this one just works. Otherwise all else is default.

pp22: What broker are u using?

Keysharp good to know I will change the inputs to the Tallinex demo I am running. Since I am only running on Tallinex demo I will use H1.

This will absolutely drive you nuts! The yellow dot is at the top of the long trade, I close it out because the other time frames also have the yellow dot and low and behold the EA enters another long with the yellow at the top. Now this is on the daily demo. The othe live and 4Hr demo do not have these trades. So something is going on. I am going to let it go and see what happens.

Slap on the indicator... see if it has two arrows for the previous and the current candle.

This week represents the ideal week on this demo. Early entriy, very few trades, small losers, and then...We've got a runner....

Update to EA v13.6

NOthing MAJOR. If you don't want to restart your MT4 or reload the EA you can wait till next week to get this download.

Added OpenTrendLine value to EXPERT TAB print statements.
If price is above this value EA considers upperTF LONG, if below then EA considers upperTG Short.
You will see the value once whenever the EA starts up and
for each UpperTF period Change. Example u are on 15min then each new day their will be a new value for OpenTRendLine
if u are trading on H4 then when new Week starts you will have a new OPenTRendLine.

Cleared up some of the no margin print outs.

Is this EA similar to v13.4 that will not close trade if buffer is exceeded an a opposite dot appears on a current candle and or previous candle any semafor dot.

Thanks for all those updates.
I got lost with all the options I'm with v13.5 and will post a screenshot of the last days' trades, so far, several small wins and losses on M15 (more losses then wins).

None of that part has changed. v13.5 has a fix for the folks that use NoSunday Candles. So if yer broker does not use a Sunday candle then u no problem with continued use of v13.4. But I do recommend u start using v13.6 next week. It has more print statements that will help us debug stuff. For example say u see a trade and it makes no sense to you cause according to the indicators and stuff it should not be taken. So then u look at the log and see the new OpenTrendLine price level. Then u compare the close of the signal candle to that and then u realize why the trade was not taken.

Plus there was a confusing comment I placed when there is no margin LOL, so I clarified that.

So as u can see it does not affect the operation of the previous 13.4 EA, but I do recommend u load it next week so u can have that debug info available.

Don't get discouraged! WE are very close... so close I can feel the pips LOL. Look if we can figure out how to get rid of 90% of the full stops then I guarantee that this EA will be profitable.... cause think about it... the small losers can and will keep your account in the game... until those big runners come. They always come and when they come the EA looks like the best thing in the world cause it can do no wrong... winners everywhere. Don;t u remember what we went thru around Nov/Dec? The EA was averaging 20% a week and that was with all the bugs in it too. The same thing will happen when the markets align.

v13.6 is not printing any OpenTrendLine info. I just had it open a BUY trade on USD/JPY and there is no such line of info in the debug.

It only printed once when I loaded the EA.

Well I did it again, closed at .7335 and look where it is now. This is lack of faith.

I have to say, that the daily TF did well last night and today. Only two trades but they are profitable.

This is my demo with daily TF. The large losing trade is a manual trade that I am holding to probably clear in a few days. The daily has been in force for three candles.

Yea, I was lazy. I didn't include it in the debug list when a condition is met. Other than when the EA starts up you should see a the value of OPenTrendLine printer each time a new period opens up. By Period I mean upper TF. So anything under H4 the EA will print the new OpenTrendLine value when a new Day starts.
The OpenTrendLine is only calculated at the beginning of the day (or period like W1 etc). So it's only done once and u use that number for the rest of the day.

Look at the time that OpenTrendLine was printed. They key is the date. If the date is the same as your trade condition date then that OpenTrendLine is what u use to make comparisons with the close of the signal candles.
