Right now all the demos are starting to pick up cause of the AUDUSD and EURUSD runners but man there was alot of trades taken. So maybe H1 is the answer to get less trades and with good results.. etc etc etc.

Yep, I agree I don't want to be around the machine. I consider that one option is to allow the EA to take the trades and when you either get the time or if u have a set time, you go check to see what the EA did and then decide what to do with the trades. This is a possible scenario, I did this with another EA I have. You may be familiar with it, it's the FlyingBuddah approach from the Millipede thread. I took the idea and created an EA and used it on the H4. All it really did was take trades for me when I was not there. Then when I had the chance I would look and manually manage the trades or remove them. It did very well, but it was only a demo and you know that demos do tell lies LOL.

You know Dredding only favored the London hours and I think part of the NY hours. I am leaning more toward the London hours cause that is usually when my runners have started and in addition it always seems that when NY wakes up, it creates a BIG MESS.

0 lots??? Man how did it even get that far? It's like it is all SCREWED up. Anyhow. I am starting to really consider just using a copier program. For whatever reasons the EA's logic just doesn't jive accross brokers. But before that let me look at what my demo is doing....

I took a brief look, just at your message, have not seen the charts u provided. The message box has alot of messages LOL. So as soon as I get time I will look with a more detailed eye. I still need to look at the demos and all the trades to confirm that they match the indicator etc etc. So it will take me some time to go thru this stuff..

Guys real quick.

Here's an example of having small losers and then the runner. Plus, notice the number of attempts, smallll . That is what we need to work on,,, get those trade attempts down.

This is the Oanda demo account, I am using Candle=PatternsNoStochs. I like that it takes less trades and even better I like that it got in one candle earlier than the Oanda Live with that uses the HA candles.

On that note. On the live account alot of what would of been runners ended up as BEs. Funny thing is that on demo same trade, but NO BE!! Isn't that interesting??
I think I am going to add more to the STOP distance, the market and the broker are just too "active" when they see a STOP. It's like they get excited LOL.

CORRECTION: The 1st long trade on the upper left corner is actually a small loss not a BE.

Here is a good example of something that should be made an allowance for. The first trade was a short and the ea recognized it had a lower dot and closed the trade. The following trade was a long but it was far from the previous close that it almost came in at the upper yellow dot. I closed the trade manually for pennies. What about the thought that when a trade is closed because of wrong direction, then an opposite trade is taken immediately?

According to the 4Hr TF I should have left the long trade alone eventhough a yellow dot showed up above it and going to the
daily TF there is a confirmation for the continuation. So I will take a look at the two higher TF before deciding to close or run. Running would mean limiting the number of trades to be taken but the trade continuing gives a bigger return. By the way this is an addendum to the previous post.

Isn't it amazing how time will tell you if you were wrong. I closed the long position early and missed out on what maybe a runner. Best to let the EA do it's job Lol.

Tell me about it. So far I my Live account is paying the price for the 2 times I closed the runners from last week.
Anyhow, this is why we need to concentrate on winning and not thinking about "what if" or "this is the right thing to do right now". Since we are dealing with future events all we can do is take the entries as we have dictated in whatever rules we established. Then no matter what if we are at the right place and the right time the trade will go in our favor, no matter if there is support/resistance or the your house is burning LOL. The trade will be profitable.

So true Jess. That trade topped out @1.408 and I closed out 1.401. That was a lot of pips lost.

EA placed a buy on the Eur/Usd so i'm going to go to bed so I don't close it to soon. Who knows it may become a runner.

been a slow day. The 4Hr demo only picked up one trade (positive), the demo with daily TF had one manual trade and one EA trade and all positive. The hourly live account had 5 trades and only one was a loss.
