But check out the number of inputs this indi has - I need 2 screenshots to show them all :
Knowing me, the indi won't last more than a week, although I like the SMA(50) on the chart. As you have said, this method isn't about the indicators or the chart format & has always been fundamentally the same & very simple.
Lastly, please, dear Harold, please : always put the flour in first !

Look for long set ups when price is above the 50 SMA and the 50 RSI is above 50. Lok for shorts when price is below the 50 SMA and the 50RSI is below 50.
Using the 13 tick YM, we are right now in a "NoGo" zone with price below the SMA and RSI above the 50 line. The only trade possible would be a long on a break above 21 as the RSI would still be above 50 and price would then be above the SMA. Otherwise, no shorts unless/until RSI drops below 50. The idea is not to automatically buy/sell when price satisfies both criteria, but to use our 123's and 2B's to enter in the direction of the trend and momentum.

RSI dip below 50 and then poke above 50. Still would be a short on the 13 range at 69 if you sold based on close or 66 if you sold based on low.
No longs to be considered based on the 50/50 criteria unless/until price trades back above the 50 SMA and we get a set up. You will not buy lows or sell highs with these criteria, but if memory serves, you will be right more than not, and take very little heat on your trades. You will still have losses however. They are unavoidable.
