well was able to grab 35 today total for week 117 ticks. not terrible considering I made only 1 tick on Monday trading 3 contracts and making 117 ticks for the week is still not a bad living here in the good ole usa

So I've been off my project for a month or so now. I've been trading the YM using the bacis set ups here in D's thread, though perhaps a bit more strictly adhering to the Trader Vic definitions of 2B's and 123's. I've also been trading one specific set on the ES which is primarily a long only strategy. I'd like to re-start trading my little account on March 1st or 2nd. This weekend I am going to go over all my trades and stats for the past four or five weeks, and I will decide whether I will proceed with the project using the YM, the ES, or both.

Trading positive week with physical pain is great accomplishment. Tells us others also that trading according the plan is powerful stuff.

JT, i'm with you on our version of the 2b being very useful for continuation trades. If a 123 does not occur, or is at least vague in real time, the break of wave 'b' is a good entrance point;

All chop since then. Looks like YM caught in a range and I'll wait for a breakout below 585 or above 647 or a reversal from a test of those levels. Otherwise I am sitting on my hands.

I also went long at 15 for 30 been doing a little work over the weekend and was in a simplifying kind of mind set so will trade this for a week and see if it bodes well before I show it. DD and JT kinda influenced my thinking so if it works thanks and if it doesn't I get to blame you both lol

Very narrow low volatility chop. Looking at the cash S&P 500 hourly, this looks like a bull flag so I'd expect a rally sometime today or tomorrow to at least test last week's highs. I am not predicting anything, because today's bull flag could be tomorrow's bull trap. Just noting the pattern here.

I have an order loaded to long 620 and will look for +30 if triggered.

Just got filled but she is off to a sluggish start. ES playing the leader a bit today.

Stop loss on this trade is now 618 which would be -2 ticks. I'm going for an early lunch, so this will either be +30 or -2 for me. Either way I am thinking to bag the rest of the day unless we get a breakout and trend one way or the other.
