I read a lot of pages of this thread and i have to say its amazing...
After all this years, how did trading affect your financial state? I mean, do you still have to work 9-5? Did trading gave you a better life style? Do you plan to quit job in the future?
Also i see you are using TV, can i know your username so we can chat there? If you already published it, im sorry.. this thread has 275 pages!

Here is what I posted over on one of the Gold topic about the dollar and why.

I expect a bounce in the Dollar, even if it is only a short term one, based on hitting various support levels (tl, fibs etc) and reaction to wide range today. Which of course means an opposite reaction in gold:

Also UJ appears close to a completion of a 4th wave abcde (ignore the fibs lines above triangle/at least hope they don't get touched otherwise abcde pattern goes out the window ) because obviously break should be lower. Should be.:

Thanks for visiting the thread.
I am better financially partly because of trading and partly because of my day job as well. I have become more experienced in both. I have also come to see that I am much better in commodities than forex. With time you just get to know yourself in this business.

You must have picked up the TV idea from my charts. I routinely use TV for charts and as FF allows for cropping of charts I just lift my commented charts from there and post them here. On TV my username is the same - Olu. I will gladly chat with you on TV

Thanks SunTrader. I saw this triangle as well. I actually thought the (e) was in place before we got the spike up so I 'donated' some of my money looking for that spike down out of the triangle. After looking at it again I observed that the pattern and idea was still intact and I will be looking to sell as close as possible to the (e) on your chart.

Hope you realized (I'm sure you do) the E is just stuck there in open space.

I think it could drag out 3 to 5 days more before it gets resolved. Or not.
