Weekend study for some who wish to improve...
Here are 2 divergence on M30 GU GN with 2 different outcome. Having extra time to check H4 worth the effort. Note that GN H4 has a bullish outside bar while M30 has 2 bearish outside bar and a divergence plus with the trend (hidden divergence) still could not win big brother H4 power

Hi Lick , wouldn't take first one , in order for first trade to sell off, Green has to cross 50L, it didnt so no sell off trade there even with HD divergence, now add MBL heading north , long only.

Now 2nd trade, Green obviously crossed 50L so go a head , now add MBL heading south, short only.

Green and 50L, if green dont crosses 50L no trade on the table

I was waiting the 61.8 golden ration to hold PA, it didnt , 78.6 did the job tho, shorted later for +50 pips

i agree with TSS, First trade is not good . i will not go for it. man reason for any divergence trade on 30 M i will take only of green crossed red below yellow(MBL) or green red crossed both to MBL and ths his point MBL angle is south.

Hi Scorps
Most don't know it because its not default number on most fib indicators.This number was "discovered" by Scott Carney and I only found out after reading his books.
To me it makes sense from market. Big boys love taking stops so 618 fib is popular hence very likely to be zone of interest for stops and orders but pushing through little higher or lower will take care of stops and once that accomplished orders are reversed.This is why almost all swings end with a spike.One thing to keep in mind that price can also violate 78.6 and according SC most instances it will reach or pass original measurement.That's why he says its "last chance reversal"

50L looks more like your personal preference.Nothing wrong with that but PA going down from 68 to 50 often can be 100-200pips distance which means lots of pips not collected.
