Hey man, I don't have it all figured out. I take plenty of big losses too. Trust me... you'll see once I find the friggin' time to get my monthly performance reports done and published to the blog.

Hi Geppy, I know my friend that we all have bad trades sometimes , but I was talking to some novice traders who they think
they found the holy grail and they do follow your trades blindly and without any money management and they get blown.

I don't think I have to show my appreciation for your trading skills. I myself get along with you sometimes and disagree with you on others, but the most important thing is that we open our minds to learn from each other.

This is nearly how I feel today, lol. I know the retrace is overdue but always manage to get run over. And then think the long is done, overexcited about shorting, then that gets stopped out. Desperate to recover lost money I'd take more poorly planned trades and lose. Really slipped on the mental game and discipline today.

Hey there Rurozan, I like many before me, ran in those same shoes always trying to catch every move and over speculate with improper money management. It took years for me to finally get to a place where I am now I look back and can't really believe its been 9 years since I started trading. Stick with it, the skies get less cloudy things start to aline from this point, so long as you learn and endure

Dude, I know how that feels. Trust me, this still happens to me from time to time. And I know many others here sympathize with this. You summed up how many have felt often perfectly.

Best thing is to stay away from trading the rest of the week. I know that's hard, especially in your current mental state. But be thankful the weekend is coming so you can use that time to get your head straight.

Right. My trading experience amounts to only five months of boom and bust. And I'm definitely being overly aggressive about it.
The plan was to cut lots vs balance down once I built more of a balance.

gonna probably be scalping tonight or short term trades. waiting and watching dollar/yen to grab a swing position (long) under 112, 11170/64 or 111.34 would be
sweet.

stock market is nuts being way up here.

hate to break it to you but 95% people lose money in this business, only the best make it.. these swings we see will wipe you out without proper money management if you don't pick it up and let it run, hoping it will come back..

Mind boggling!
That's I never wanted to open my own trend! There are so many people who are going to tell me why they feel the way they feel and I will obliged to research their predispositions, to understand why they feel the way they they feel, and to tell them that their feelings has noting to do with the feelings all over the forex market, which I am not in the position to judge 'cause I am not the person this market reports their feelings to;

I added to my short on USD/JPY after it failed to break resistance. Looks like it may break the channel here as well. I am now scaled in and plan on starting to scale out at around 112.00. I am still long GBP/JPY with starter size, I have a tight stop.

I'm long eurusd and oil options on the weekly close tomorrow. Looking for $1 higher on oil and as of right now another 60 pips on eurusd. My intention is to rise oil up if it happens. I like the theme of this thread.

If you stick to 2% risk you allow yourself many more chances to earn. Really do the math
$2000 account, trading a mini account you can add to your account at a decent rate. You will not win the fxcm monthly contest, but you'll be around for next month!
