i think the euro will gain a LOT by summer time. so im looking for a good support level to buy it up from. sad thing is i had drawn some lines on a chart (i think they were inside bars, not really sure lol) and today it hit one on the dot 10956 and bounced, that caught my eye on my charts lol. the euro was hot 2 weeks ago, this retrace i definitely wanna be buying soon, but i think we will get a deeper correction.

the euro and yen are both currencies used as carry trade vechiles, Yen especially. so when the stock markets tank dollar/yen will fall and Euro/dollar will rise.

U/CAD, I am still bullish short term as fundamentals which got us here have not changed. I think we are almost at the bottom of uptrend channel as seen in the daily chart below

Ellol even if it hits my stop loss I don't care I have a 1:5 on it, meaning I only have to get 1 trade correct out of 5 to break even. I do trades 1:10, 1:20 even and I already made thousands this week, look at my previous post

i'm watching the dollar/yen for a short position at 112.61 . was eying this number when it had bounced from 111.62 but only reached 112.25. Only thing i hate about shorting usd/yen right now is if the bottom breaks the BOJ will probably intervene because they are idiots

I 've noticed that some traders just show up into discussing a cross or a trade without reading what they missed on the thread.

Long here, average position 155.60. Target is 158.00. Over all still very much bearish, looking to add to short positions as we fill in space & edge higher.

hey guys is there still a gap open on gbp/jpy from monday ? fxcm charts show a daily close on friday of 162.07 and sunday/monday open of 160.47 and a high of 161.55 . on an online chart i see a close of 162.28 friday and open 160.58 high 161.56. just wondering if you guys had any different numbers ?

Hey gang, I'm still holding shorts on GBP/JPY and USD/JPY. They were well into profit early this morning and now just barely *sigh*

I'm adding a bit here though because the trend is still down.

I also jumped back in USD/CAD longs at 1.3700

It was a strange day with US equities reversing, and I really have a hard time seeing equities continue to push higher. But who knows...

Been super busy at work today so that's why I've been a bit MIA. Hope everyone is having a killer week though. Tomorrow I'll be publishing my December trading performance on the blog. Then I plan to post January's performance next week so that I'm all caught up and ready to publish this month's performance in March.

I thought you had it with CAD as you mentioned earlier. For the first time we are taking opposite positions on CAD as I shorted again today. I'm long GU , GJ , UJ and EU . Small profit on all of them till now.

Peeps keep saying that G/J is oversold and maybe it is, but i do know that this pair is respecting the TL's virtually to the pip!
Based on this, price is "likely" to retrace back to or near the (orange) TL which is also BRN 157.0. From there, let the shorting begin
I may not be right!

I think if UJ broke the 112.25 area that will clear a way for a decent up move and hopefully it will take GJ with it.

only trading USDCAD and GBPJPY , straight buys all in profit. GBPJPY just broke the 1 hr triangle and starting charge up.

Hey Geppy greetings. I hope this means something to you....just thought i'd reach out for support because your an inspiration. i would wait to see what price does around this 50ma on the 1hr gbpjpy before considering any longs.... remember this is for swing trades kinda pointless jumping in and out

Price action still tells me they are in downtrend. Of course situation may change but the PA will indicate that.

I'm Also bearish for this pair and E/cad as well, E/CAD is creating a BAT expecting U/CAD to fall as well
