UCad: exited. I'm not long just yet. But longs are starting to come to life.
Why:
Oil is falling.
That Daily/4hr TL could break, as mentioned above.
Higher Low on the hr.
And 3 bounces off the top of the monthly TL that was broken back in Dec.
And there's some good fib retracement confluence here.

also grabbed usd/jpy long (small one) 112. i was watching for 111.80 and missed it this morning. i think dollar yen will go up if oil pushes usd cad down. becuase it will lift equities and dollar yen should get a lift. watching crude oil for a move to 36/37. thats my thoughts right now. dollar yen has another big move down coming soon just dont think its coming right now.

Consumer confidence came lower than expectations for US.
Guess that is adding a bit of fuel to the fire for the USJ shorts ?

My rationale for following a trade.

1. Go with the trend.
2. Watch out for the supports and resistances and how they are respected.
3. Do not trade the news but be aware of how it effects the currency.

USDCAD has broken out of our range, looking to go long targeting about 1.4000 before taking some profit then higher again.

stopped out of usd/cad short -10 pips. gonna look over charts for next swing resistance area. 13873 if we get there today would be nice. closedout dollar yen long +20pips. wanna see how oil moves and usd/cad. 112.61 area might have some ressistnace going forward

Agreed. the H1 (left) is struggling to break the 200MA, which means the H4 (right) is struggling to break the trendline:

GBPJPY: Possible Target 156.25...
1. Monthly 100MA
2. 50% retrace from 1/1/2012 lows.

I agree that if UCAD breaks out of 1.4000 the next level to look at is 1.4100 and then its 1.4300 and after that 1.4500 and then 1.46 plus.
Hopping from one support to the next.
Did I get that right ?
