no chart needed on that 156.70, just now only 130 pips below us.....yeah, it's just an unsquared candle....just the first we run into....about four more every 200 pips under 156.xx

Update on my GPY/JPY short after this pull back current looking for target of 157.02. That will put us just over 300 pips for the Daily range, if London and US session take us there otherwise, could see continuation during the following day

Yeah but that spike came back beeeuwdifully to the old support/new resistance and bounced back down That's a good sign!
Unfortunately my 2 parcels were stopped out (for good profit) but i'll be looking to get back in "shortly" (pardon the pun).
Right now though it's trading smack bang in the middle of newly forming support (BRN of 112.000) and that resistance mentioned above, so i'm putting my patience hat on.

Hey all, sorry I've been out of touch for a few days. A bunch of friends and I went camping for the weekend it was a blast. I caught up on the blog from sunday and got short with usdcad and gbpusd. I was also catching up with the thread and I think its cool as hell we got such a variety of people contributing to the thread. Anyway I'm down here in Tallahassee, Fl trying to major in economics at Florida State. Nice to meet everyone

I am looking at the exact same chart as you . Fortunately, that spike triggered my limit order to add to my short. I am hoping we can break this 112.00 and then the channel sometime tomorrow or Wednesday.

I want to see that resistance hold a few more times on the 15min or 30min and then i will short around the 112.500 area.
From there it could go:
112.000 then
111.000 then
110.100 then
105.600 !!

Took the 2nd UJ short from 112.40 not too long ago. I wasn't around to see it hit the W open so getting in close by after is fine for me.
Also 2nd short on UCad @ 3711 I like the look of the downward trend line but while I feel like while from the daily the UJ has room to drop, UCad doesn't have much room and may not make it past 3660.
Didn't addon any extra trades to GJ, wasn't around to get in at a price i would have liked, although in retrospect, i shoulda just shorted when i spoke about it earlier since it came close enough. Happens sometimes.
GU looks shortable but since i'm already in GJ and UJ trades I'm not gonna be taking any GU trades. It's like i'd be multiplying my current positions.

Order triggered when UJ jumped to 112.5 so I added to my short. Looking for it to retest 112 after the London opening.

Like i said earlier, I'm still building confidence. I took Gbp/chf a couple of hours ago b4 i slept off and missed the U/j move. I Know this is not part of the currency listed here. I hope someone learn frm this. TO WAS ON THE SUPPORT. THOUGH I CLOSED IT MANUALLY WHEN PRICE STARTS CONSOLIDATING. A previous To dat was broken and retested another bounce off a new TL and also a retest of support turned resistance. I cannot help but to trade it as three signals lined up. Confluence of signals like it is being called.

U/J - that 112.000 BRN is really quite strong support, keeps bouncing upward there! If ,ahem, once it gets through, it should be just as strong resistance which is great.

Not sure what to make of USD/CAD, been on a slow trickle upwards all day, super boring. I don't want to mess up and book profit too early but I'm not seeing much room for it to get further than yesterday's lows, especially considering the fairly stable move up for today.
I'm holding my shorts for now but I'm interested to see how others feel about it. One of the positives of swing trading is getting away from my desk but the downside is working with cell phone charts from a wooden boat in Thailand.
