I don't like to take anything before the 38% however every situations is different and if the structure is strong enough and the test is weak enough I would in fact that is the trade I'm in now that I posted. Dam thing is still not moving. Looks like some overtime for me today.

it's amazing how you think. you just see market making NSH, wait for a PB and shoot. I don't have the guts to do that, ....yet...

but my humble thinking on this market now, (pls don't be affected by it) it's a bit deeper PB at 50% right at structure and then shoot high.
But you know, I have a terrible prediction of YM, and that's why i'm sticking with EU still. i cant seem to predict this market at all.

You are probably right my expectation was for a mid to deep correction. The weakness got me into the trade early. Oh well next.

I jumped into this with a short, and took a couple of pips...

My thinking being that the order flow is weakening, and it is unreasonable with a 100% pull back for a NSL... It seems to have stalled on the tiniest bit of structure, which is to me a sign that this is weakening, so would rather get out and risk nothing, thank stay in and risk my cash!

3 BE trades for me today, and will probably leave it there, although 2 trades should have netted me about 5% today! Especially since the thought process was right, but little pops in price took me out at BE before they fell off the cliff!

Trade management is something that I need to work out... got very good at waiting for the NSX to move to BE+ 5 pips or so, but may have done it at the NSX and not the break of it which woudl have netted me a nice tidy profit!

Wow what a day to be trading...last i saw eurusd and gbpusd massively down...a day for shorts.

So wish i didnt have to go to work lol

complex correction is possible, test of low is possible. That is weak buy, to much risk

your short was a good idea. I wanted to go short too but i missed a good entry. The idea is that you simply risk very little as the SL goes right above that LH which btw coincides with a good structure. Price was simply testing that LH, and it failed to make a NSH. Which is a good indication for going short. Of course, I don't expect price to make a NSL but you never know. We are in a strong downtrend and that's not unreasonable to expect. so let's see. But definitely, I'm not looking for longs here. unless I see price stops at the indicated zone (61.8%) of the swing.

Quite agree! It is far more fun to predict before it happens... and the NSL is still the expectation, unless a NSH is formed...

I suppose it all depends on how price reacts at the various levels...
