The problem with FF posts 1 is that only 4 pictures are allowed. I could later include a list of post numbers which are important. I don't have much time this week as I will be traveling. So friends help each one out until I am fully back.

We had this discussion before. I don't trade Tokyo, time for sleep... But apply timing when read market momentum "x" below 50:
Tokyo Open is for Asian pairs JPY, AUD, NZD same as for London Open with EUR and GBP. So before Tokyo Open always is dead market but it will wake up through Tokyo for Asian pairs. Timing....

Closed on SR
This Support looked me a good place to take profit.
If it breaks will look for reentry after a pullback and retest.

I trade all TFs. You just need to apply the position size to it. Conservative is to risk SL 1% to 0.5% of account per trade.
D1 is 6 times bigger then H4 so this is same relation like m5 and m30 which is also 6 times more but we say its 2 TFs higher, so this is relative. There should be a H12 but mt4 don't have. That's why H4 and D1 will work like a 2x TF higher. The main idea behind is the smaller TF should have enough room to complete its swings inside the higher TF. A m15 have for example not enough room to complete its swings inside a m30 because it is only double of the time.

Hello Bernhard. In your example -you trade gap and cross.
I think is no true.
You must close gap, when pair near zero because you dontknow -will be cross or no.
may be gap and mirror gap, without cross: its 50\50.
In cross always been correction, and second order for trade cross -you open with pending limit order.
But primary - you can not trade gap and cross in one order.

The cross has no meaning here ... As long as the 2 currencies are travelling in opposite direction, we have a double gap ...

we dont know -will be double gap or will be gap and cross. In this time (on zero) we must close first order, and open next order when will be new gap or cross.

If you read the thread, you certainly know that OP isn't using the cross as a trading criteria ... You can see it clearly stated in post #499

im trading a cross.
for example for enter to position and exit with indic provide HP in this my post
trade for Bernhard indicator must be for this rules too.
Exit from all positions of cross must be when we have two polaris -south and north on level 20 -80 (in my example CAD -USD)

@ fxredbullua, We do not need a cross because we check the higher TF trend! The crosses you show are very weak signals and most of time meaningless as you self mentioned many losses.
You may read again the first 2 pages of this thread. Your picture of crosses show many many simple GAPs! I can not stress enough the point to learn what is a simple GAP and what is a double GAP. If you like to wait for a cross when there was a double GAP it is your decision, it may make your entry late and your SL big, if the higher TF trend is with you it is not needed.
My advice for you: do not trade a cross just because there is just a cross and it is also a simple GAP and no trend confirmation.

Bernhard: Would it be correct to say you entered that first of two AUDUSD H4 trades above this post of mine
a bit early as the double gap did not have one of its currencies (USD) on the opposite side of the zero line?

from h4 point of view yes but entry was from h1 and last h1 high was broken.

Why did you break it up into two trades instead of closing the first one when H4 changed? Also, why do you trade the bigger TFs now and not the smaller ones?

Higher TFs can not be watched all the time, I was not in front of computer so I have set TP at last h4 high.
But I trade the smaller FT still if I have time for it. I was very busy this week with private matters.
