And we are out, Full SL hit- sadly the biggest $SL I have had during this trading journal. Only slightly ahead for the month....

Will have some time tomorrow, so will look at a fixed SL, as suggested by since80808.

As said in the previous post-

I have had a look at the past 4 months (back to November 2015), comparing the results against having a fixed SL of 50 Pips.

For the months November, December, and January the results were very similar- maybe 5 pip difference. However for February the results were in favour of having a fixed 50 Pip SL (Difference being 72 Pips).

Possibly showing that it won't hinder the TP, but will reduce the SL.

With that in mind, I will now be placing a hard stop of 50 Pips on my trades, however if the previous swing high/low is less than 50 Pips, then I will use that.

Hope that all makes sense.

A BIG thank you to since80808 for his help/tip in altering the SL.

I have also mentioned linking a trade explorer to this journal- this has all been done, and I will link it and trade with that live account from the beginning of March (only reason is to keep things neat and tidy.

And we are out for a full SL.



February Analysis:

I had the most consecutive winning trades, the largest $loss, and I doubled my initial deposit (added note: I didn't double the account in the month of Feb, but Feb was the month in which the account was doubled, hope that makes sense - all in 1 month!

Total number of trades: 17
Drawdown: 11.57%





As mentioned previously- I will set up and add a live journal to this journal. So deeper analysis can be done.

March is going to be fun!!

Hi All,

Seeing that I am opening a new account and linking it to a TE.
I thought I would do a final analysis of the current account from 1st Nov 2015 to 29 Feb 2016, which is how long I have been trading this system/strategy.

Total number of trades: 50
Percentage of trades won: 74%
Maximal Drawdown: 11.57%
Relative Drawdown: 14.54%





The new account is nearly set up and will be attached asap.
