Hello Geppy, I am really enjoying your insight. I have been trading part time for quite a while. My biggest demons are holding onto winning trades seem to always want to take that quick profit. You are helping me get over this hurdle and I will get there this I know. Looking forward to being part of the ride.

Geppy, I am new to trading and your blog has been very insightful. Just curious your take on the USDCAD. I think I am seeing divergence on the 4hr and this would be logical since it is near support from a few weeks ago.

From this simple analysis do you think it is trying to bounce? (ie. rally was a bit overdone) or since it went under the 100 Daily MA, it is just a matter of time until
it goes lower through the support?

I am most intrigued. I think this thread can be quite educational for me.
Personally I prefer to stick to the daily charts for patterns and trends. The lower time frames to determine entry. But there is no time frame to learning from others experience, right ?

Gbp/usd is setting up for that continued downtrend... Possible divergence on the stochastic. Here's what I'm looking at

broke the triangle h4 , tested same resistance 3 times now, im covered at average price 165.85 but those with lower averages in red...

Hey gang, unfortunately more of the same today with GBP/JPY... stuck in a range!

The 4-hour 50 moving average is kind of my line in the sand now (currently at 164.48). If we get above that, I think I'd have to bail on my shorts with a small profit and let things sort themselves out.

That being said, I still like the trade and feel confident the odds are in our favor for a move down. The push higher last night was driven by GBP/USD and if I wasn't already short it's cousin, I'd be shorting that pair now.

On another note, I'll be less present here throughout the day today and tomorrow. I've got a bunch of obligations at my real job and won't be able to be on as much. But I'll be hopping on in the evening like I usually do.

Bear Case:

Crossed the trend line, crossed the 1.1100.
From the daily, the pair is in a place where if it does go down, there's a lot of room. Lots of reward for the risk.

Bull Case:

May be the end a pullback on the daily.

Neutral Case:

US and European equities look over extended.

All in all i think this is a good place to get in for little risk on a possible down move that will have more addons later.
