Folks: Please download the updated EA. I ran several tests and I found the real problem and solved it. The EA will now properly close the trade if an opposite 3sema dot appears. It has been tested and it works.

Update on Fix

Folks:
Happy tp say that the fix s working as programmed. This morning a short was taken on EURUSD and the EA did it's job nicely. it closed the trade once an opposite 3sema dot appeared. However, the EA did not recognize that the trade was in profit. So hold on to your pips and for now accept thge small winners lol. I will be testing the function that is suppose to tell the EA that the trade is in proft and for that matter the function that also tells the Ea that it is in BE. I include both as redundancy. Should have the fix ready.


I am liking what I forsee... Imagine having small winners/losers and then BAM a couple of long BIG runners. That meets the criteria we have always heard, close the losers, let the winners run. In addition this may be a possible solution to when the market is volatile. As we see more real data we will become aware of this. This EA are looking good...

The upate is working very well. Had a trade on the demo close out because of the green dot and the trade closed in profit. The real account hasn't had a trade since yesterday evening.

UPDATE on Fixing EA to not close trade after an opposite 3sema dot, if the trade is in profit.

Folks:
I found the error.... simple dang BASTARD LOL. I'll be posting EA v12.96 in a bit.
The error was simple this:

Before having the EA look for a opposite 3sema dot, it checks to see if the trade is in profit.
In the function to get profit I had the error that basically told the EA that it was never in profit LOL. SO hence no matter what the EA would thing,"Hey this is not in profit and I see an opposite 3sema dot,,, CLOSE THE DANG SUCKER!" LOL.
The fix was to simple change a comparison command. I had it saying
IF the trade is a BUY "AND"is a SELL, then check the profit, otherwise tell EA 0 profit.
so obviously when can we have the same trade be a BUY AND a SELL?? Never LOL.
So I changed the "AND" to "OR" and voala the EA can now see the profit and leaves the trade alone.

I tested this and it works...

Now this brings a questions. Should we allow for a couple of pips (say spread) before letting the EA start to look for the 3sema dot?
This morning I had another EURUSD Sell that was closed immediately, if the EA was allowed a couple of pips before looking for the 3sema, the trade would of
traveled down and been in profit. At that point the EA would of ignored the detection of the 3sema dot and allowed the trade to continue to make profit.
I was thinking of using the spread as a sort of buffer that would allow the trade to take off, otherwise we will see a lot of these potential winners be closed out for a small loss.

Please provide your comments and either I'll leave it as is or I'll add the spread (or whatever you guys think we can use).

UPDATE on v13 with new opposite 3sema detection included.

Ok, the Live account suffered more losses and fell down -20%, But I noticed many trades should of been avoided. The fixes have been installed and I added the 3sema detection thing. So last nite was a lot better and we even got some profit! LOL. 1% profit just last nite. If the EA had the close trade fix I would be looking at a EURUSD long RUNNER at this moment. So things are looking good.

Further update. On the demo account I have the EA looking for CandlePatterns with no Stoch Cross. On the Live account I have the EA looking for HA candles. I am comparing to see which has more potential. So far the HA_Candles have had more activity than the Candle Patterns and more profit. So I will keep you posted.

When will v13 be released... For sure this weekend. I think the trading bugs have been fixed. Now it would just be a matter of finding out what the broker has in store for us and making the necessary adjustments to beat it, if there is anything at all of course.

So, I promise this Friday.. EAv13 and Indicatorv11 will be published.

Like the idea of the spread. That is what happened to me this morning and I ended in profit. Can't wait for V13. Right now just messing with brokers by placing manual traes. Been lucky so far. This Dredding system can have versions.

Update with fix.

This versiom has the fix, EA will now allow trades to continue if they r in either profit or BE.

This update does not have the spread. I'll add that to v13. For now lets see how it does without the spread.

this is an amazing indicator helps a lot but it is utilizing more than 60% CPU and slowing my system there is something wrong with this i took it from this forum. any facing same issue? can anyone fix this/have alternate or better file of same kind.

I'll take a look. On my this versiin all l I did was add the number of bars and get rid of some of the timeframes. I'll see if I can eliminate any more loops. The loops in the program r what cause the cpu to be used up....

thanks a lot really, i am grateful. i am also making changes and observing.... seems like it is working fine now after removing all tfs and selecting 5m only

hey.. try this. i modified the code. you should see improvement.
i coded it so it only loads the heavy stuff only one time. but once it is done and the new ticks start it should be alot lighter. please test it. let me know if u see improvement. use the default bars and tfs.

sure i am on it, previous one was freezing my screen i had to remove that one. let me observe and update thank you really

wow , this did not affect anything at all, working like a normal indicator no load observed. everything is working perfectly fine for now....

The real problem was that the original indicator was loading 4 arrays (groups of things). The arrays consisted of over 5000 Time/Date info.
So in total it would load 4 X 5000 items or 20000 items. That would then be used in a loop for so many candles (MaxBars) to show you what the indicator had for each candle on the chart. Once that was done then it would continue on each tick to load twice 20000 items. that is it would load 40000 items each TICK.

What I did is cut down the 20000 to 10000 items and that is now used for the number of MaxBars. Then after that it will only load 4 items at each tick.

Please Let me know if it continues to work. I would compare it to the original indicator and make sure that the colors match as new bars are formed.

I recommend pages 1-20. Concentrate on the Dredding posts. So you can get the firm idea of the rules of page 1 and whatever extra insight he added.

Then if u want u can start looking from post 300. That's more or less when I started development on the EA and indicator. Basically what you will get from that is that we have decided to now test the EA and indicator on real accounts. You will see that the early version of the EA had a tremendous run in Nov/Dec/early Jan. It took blown out accounts and revived them into profit... LOL. But when we went live.. that's when the REAL testing started. Right now the core approach (pg 1 rules) is intact, the EA pretty much follows the rules. However, the brokers don't LOL. So we have had to adjust SL and other things so that we can see trades and also PROTECT from bigger losses etc.

Currently the last EA version is 12.96 (should work on TFs M5 thru D1)
Version 13 will be released this weekend and will override v12.96. The biggest addition is that this EA can detect Candle Patterns the other only use HA candles (per pg1 rule).

Now there is an indicator version 10.5, it only only works on M15 and is the compliment to EA v10.5. If u want u can check those out. Both only work on the 15M TF and just handles HA candles. Version 11 of the indicator will also be released this weekend. This one will compliments EAv13, in that it will also handle more TFs and also can read CandlePatterns.

The main idea of the indicator is so we can visually SEE where possible trade entries should happen. It helps to compare with what the EA is doing.
Another thing you see is that the EA will PRINT Debug statements for EACH time it detects the conditions that are mentioned on pg1. The Debug statements consist of each of the rules on pg 1 and in what conditions the EA saw the,. for example you will see Failed at pivot point..... 1.2222 or Found RED HA candle. U can use this information to also compare and see if the EA started/or didn't start a trade entry. There are other Debug messages that deal with the EA closing the trade as well. All of these PRINT statements are found in the EXPERTs tab. On one of the pgs (after page 300) I show images of what they look like and provide brie explanations.

Of course once the EA is working properly all the PRINT statements will be eliminated.

good going so far only when i upload it on a new chart it hangs a bit rest is all perfectly fine. you must substitute
