not an expert, but my take on this would be that the momentum is increasing, the projection looks to be about the same, and the depth has increased. At this point we dont know if the move has ended or not, but in the future we can expect a LH and a NSL as expectation dictates, and My expectation for a pull back would be in the region between the 0 and 23.6 levels on your chart (not the actual retracement values of the move though...) as that seems to be where structure seems to be, and it would be reasonable to come to there based on the projection and previous depth - a mid range correction...

Waiting on the expectation video by Mr.Pip - I am sure that will put a bit more light on the proceedings - Mr P, take your time though, no rush!

To be honest, I have never heard the above expression before (and the real meaning of it). My first reflex was to check the weather forecast, for checking if there was a hurrican in Miama. Then I saw "light rain shower" and I thought "????????????????????"

I am much better. and will be making the video later on tonight my time and posting it. Today is Presidents Day here in the states and there is no school. My house is the fun house for everyone so there are a bunch of kids running around making way too much noise for me to make a quality video. As soon as they clear out I will get to work and make the long awaited video. I will not be catching up to the individual post because a lot of the questions will be covered in the video. So a little more patience and I will get that out soon. Nice work and a big thanks for those that have stepped in to help out while I was sick.

I just took this trade for an ABCD pattern, looking for a critique. Am I on the right track?

Welcome to the thread!

We are not trading patterns at the moment. Please go back as devontrader mentions on the previous page to start reading at post #15603 then you'll know what"s going on. If you are serious about becoming a successful trader then you will find this info invaluable.

We certainly want you to be part of the thread so please feel free to ask questions about the current topic.

You'll find what Mr Pip is teaching right now is way more reliable than reading patterns. If you like trading patterns that's fine but first learn to read the charts. Then you will be able to trade the patterns with a higher probability of success.

Okay Traders,

Just finished the video It's a longer then you are use to but better. I went through 2 trading days one unprofitable and the other profitable. As you already know I don't cherry pick the chart and use random places to show the examples. I believe this adds value because it is not rehearsed or faked in any way. You have not had the value to see a losing day which happens to all of us yes even me. But the take away it that it does not matter and you don't bring that baggage with you into the next day. I anticipate having to possibly make another video and that is okay there is no rush here and the important thing is that you are able to see the techniques applied in a realistic manner. Please comment on the video. I'm still not 100% so if the video is crap let me know as well.

hi guys. just arrived in my office and can't wait to watch Damian's video. but in the meantime I couldn't resist entering a trade this morning before London open. the reasons why I took it are written in the chart below together with some simple analysis. let's hope this trade plays out as I think it should, so that can relax for the day while enjoying Damian's video.

ok, I'm taken out. -23 points (pips). now let's wait for a PB and look for longs instead. market is showing quite some nice momentum to the upside.

btw, another great video by Damian. I'm gonna watch it a couple of times at least. It helps me not only with the trading style or technique but also with the psychology of trading, knowing that even Damian might have bad days.
