sometimes these bastards act too predictable. changing the hourly chart with a last minute push

another weird thing usd is holding against yen while euro and gpb pushing up, i feel clueless and stupid.

Why beat yourself up?

Any trade we enter is based on a probability at best. Nobody knows with absolute certainty what will happen...that's where keeping low leverage and money management skills kick in.

You have been biased short and made money - I have been biased long and made money; who gives a s**t which of us 'right' so long as we both achieve what we've set out to achieve.

you are absolutely right
just that move was beyond my plans and unexpected did not see any specific reason for shoot up.
this killed my short from 723x which was trailing stop with 100 pips. still holding the ones from 7110 and added couple more
lets see what asia has to bring.

That 70 level seems to be pretty well protected, and without a meaningful driver it will be difficult to break. Price seems to have found a bit of equilibrium here around 70 and 71 and it needs some fundamentals to shake it loose in my opinion. I think that should be coming shortly with Yellens's testimony.

With that said, I am bearish and have moved my short from 7110 to breakeven. I'm currently watching to see if price can get between 7110 and 7070 again. If it fails in that area I will look to add to my short. I currently see a trendline break and a retest of the monthly pivot at 7070. Happy trading

Hmm looks like 0.7090 may be the highest point we could see near term for now, if we see 0.7015 and lower we might push down towards 0.6990, this pair is a slow mover.
Wish I held out on my short from 0.7225 ​

What I posted in the other AU thread earlier, I didn't take the trade at 0.7090 as I was away from screen, missed the call by only 5 pips :0, to the downside I missed by quite a few admittedly as I didn't look further at daily and weekly support levels :/

I'm still holding short from .7025. Have wider stop loss than usual...tired of getting stopped out in this volatility. Looking to try to snag some gold at 1186.3 this morning-just a heads up to anyone interested it has dipped and there's an opportunity for bulls

Mate regards Gold I am wary Venezuela seeling reserves due to Oil drop and a Hedges funds so could possible drop and take next leg down , I plan to buy Physical that and Silver good luck .

agree. overall, charts are still bearish, but i am afraid that move up will bring some crappy price action. currently i have no clue about the direction and i really do not like that daily candle.

If sovereign funds are selling assets then AUD/USD would be exposed as Australia was deemed to be a solid place for investment.

The AUDUSD is right in between the 0.7000 and the 0.7100 from where it may go in any direction. Those level could keep acting as support and resistance.
