I am surprise the price GBP/JPY is not moving north, especially while it is oversold

We'll see what US equities do. You'd think they want to rally given that average hourly earnings increased (a big sticking point for the Fed) and unemployment dropped. It's really not a bad number.

BUT

We might be in one of those weird time where good news is bad and bad is good for US equities. Nobody wants the Fed to continue raising rates, so when economically positive news comes through, equities could decline on the expectation that interest rates will go up.

Hey....for the Elliott wavers out there 168.xx looks like a wave 5 scenario, targeting more downside further out....

Hmm, can't really say. I'm self taught so can't recommend any resources beyond what you could Google. I'd just keep watching what other people post, learn from it, and always favor simplicity over complexity.

.voodoo...yes, now old man Gann,....he was voodoo....but surely not Elliott waves, right now the pip count is 560 pips in a suspected major wave 5 down...I could lose half of it in a burst to the topside....but the reason we sold that 174.81.......is it's a 38.2 fibo,or some fibo I read here on F F, and gespiri posted his 174.70... that's how we got in the sell, but that same day we discovered a wave 5 down....and if so, the target is.....in tech jargon ....way the hail downthere....can't even see it from here

So, Elliott is the reason we stay in short, uncomfirmed , true....confirmation if we see an overlap of major 3...on the way back down going for a little more.

there's a free spread sheet that shows up as an office app....that has all the projections and corrections possible, that's a blast....at Ian Copsey's place, he's a member here at F F.
