ok heres the message to everyone: DD is right and I am right. we both have taken the steps to develop a trading plan with all it rules and setups. He is implementing his trade plan and I am implementing mine the results are we are both making money. master a setup or setups and then master the money management to go along with it and you will become the master over it in stead of being mastered by it

I'm going to breakeven on the stop loss. This is very choppy price action right now. Odds of hitting targets is now 50/50 vs 80/20

Exactly. For example, I have no idea what cableguy is doing exactly, but it doesn't matter if I understand his trading plan. All that matters is that he himself understands his own trading plan. Come up with a trading plan that lets you achieve your goals while being able to stay firmly and comfortably in the zone.

This short trade needs this S to turn into R or a rally back to the high of the day may be on the menu for this afternoon. I'll be dining alone however, as this has been much too long of a day for me (I had no plans to trade the NQ - I just pulled up the chart to get some infor for D. and there was a trade, so what was I to do?

Stopped out on the last two contracts at breakeven. It was a worthy trade.

sorry tim just saw the post if we get the +15 and no pb and price goes 30 ticks from entry we then look for next setup so yes though I don't recall seeing a 123 aT 25

yes quite different it might be the ninja platform itself or ninja maybe be ib for a clearing house for data might get filtered but Erasmus though using an ib still uses transact feed and charts are close maybe try a 444 chart it might close the distance

the opportunities were out there, i tripled the settings on a macd on the 333 chart and compared it with the 999 and they are very similar, the crossing on the 333/3x chart is just behind, but there were the same # of crossings at similar time

I find trading off the charts extremely easy and fast. You set stop and target in the open trade window. Make sure you unchecked auto on Dom otherwise you will have 2 sets of orders put on. So when I get something setup say to go long we get pt 1 then pt 2 I then take cross hairs and put them on price to enter then as price pulls back to for either pt3 or broken pt3 I right click and when countdown timer completes the bar I click buy stop and all 3 lines appear I never miss a trade doing it this way
