Here, same settings with the other EA, only indicator difference.

You can use the soundfile on the indicator ASCTrend_Sound.mq4 if you like or you can change it to any sound file you want.

Hi Kos, I decided to try your EA (thanks for sharing), but have a question regarding the user inputs - I set up TP and SL, but they don't appear on the chart. Are they active even if they are not appeared? Can you tell me what should be done?

Anyone starting in on a short trade already? I've been watching the M5, M15, H1 and H4 charts, seems to be starting a downturn.
why my T101_Core5_Tidane EA did not open any trade ?

Still testing Kos EA on 15min TF. Yesterday after the arrow appeared there was a down movement around 500pips. Today it's in the opposite direction for about 200pips.
I'm waiting for reply from Kos regarding the SL, TP and Lock values, which are missing from the screen information. There is an opened basket when this snap shot was taken.

does the ASCTrend ea work with brokers that use suffix ie gbpjy.sb ?, as I've tried but it doesn't seem to work.
Any advise on this EAs settings would be great.

still in the current long on H4, though choppy. Will see if H4 cci candles, tidane and 3cci all reverse and change direction, just look at your chart and follow it.

Hey Kos, or anyone else trading the baskets live really, what amount of money do you recommend starting with on a live account?

I saw way back when you first started, you had an account with $400, but you were also trading the 14-pair basket, if I remember correctly. I'm wondering if it's enough to start with $100 for the core-5 if I start my trading on the M15, so that I can build up the equity needed to withstand the big whipsaws of the H4 timeframe.

Currently I'm testing with risk = 20. Yesterday the basket went to BE +20pips after the news. Today there is no arrow yet.

Sorry for the dumb questions, I started reading the thread, still reading it but was wondering if I could use the EA and test it as I learn.
I've downloaded the T101_Core_5_ASC.exe EA and I'm not sure what's next. It's supposed to go on a regular chart but what's creating the basket offline chart? Or do I need to create it myself, and if so, can I use any basket create EA/indicator/script or is it tailored to a specific type of basket chart (I see some screenshots with Seller9's EA so not sure).
Also, from the previous screenshots, it looks as if the EA is placed on an offline chart (#KOS#05) and not on a regular chart.

You can definitely test as you go along, Kos's method is pretty straight forward. What you may want to do as far as getting the basket offline chart setup is download the 'Basketv8 new format' file, its an indicator you can apply to any chart to create the basket chart for you. If you open the file to modify it, you can see which pairs are included in each option available to you. To have your charts look like the ones that are the core-14, or core-5, just put 14 or 5 in the first option and you will be good to go.

I'm mostly using Abokwaik's basket EA and Create Basket script for creating the offline charts, can I test the T101 EA with an offline chart created with something other than the "Basketv8 new format"? And I read that it should be placed on a regular chart not on an offline chart? And what's with changing the TF on the EA but not on the offline chart?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm reading as fast as I can but with work and life and everything it's not as quick as I would have liked.

This concept is great, however I have some problems with scripts. I've been trading the core 5 with AM last few weeks then changed broker to HFT (they got .ndd / .stp prefix). I've edited opening scripts from AUDJPY to AUDJPY.ndd format and so on, but still it doesn't work. Any ideas?

that EA I'm not sure of to be honest, I use the "Basketv8 new format" to create the charts and seller9's Basket trader EA to do my basket trading, and I know that one can be placed on the offline chart no problem.
