trend catching with NonLagDot indicator

Very remarkable Kasty. What EA did you use in opening and closing trades on these basket of fx pairs?

Thanks for starting-blocks this indicator. I only see blue bars on my chart and i didnt manage to find the solution to setup the indicator. Do you have an idea to resolve this ?

I had some losses yesterday because I was away from my terminal and was trying to add trades to an already running trade, not so smart when you're not near the screen to babysit a new set up
Here are this morning's trades and setups.

C5H4 - A pending order is in place.
C5M30 - Was targeting the 50 fibo level but it turned out to be not so profitable so I let it run. After some retracement and a near loss (SL is in $) it went into profit and was closed on the 61.8 level
C14H4 - Still not enough bars for the NLD indicator to work.
C14M30 - Trade was opened on the 38.2 fibo level and was closed a bit higher then the 50 fibo level.
CMDTH4 - Pending order was set but later removed as the NLD changed its color.
CMDTM30 - Took the trade as it appeared to retrace down and I was hoping for it to break and it did, I didn't stay for the entire move.
CMDT2H4 - Took the short trade, went into profit and exited.
CMDT2M30 - Took the trade when it broke the 38.2 fibo level and the previous local high. Didn't stay for the whole move.

A few words on the EA settings, TP/SL are set to 100$ and 200$ respectively and the lots size for every basket is set to 0.1 lot. So each winning trade was for 100$, some DD but no loss today.
Profits for today: 500$
Loss for yesterday (was testing trade additions and fiddled with the EA's TP/SL settings, too): 600$
The EA can be traded live but it's lacking some features I think are crucial for trading, I still love it and use it, though.

Quit MT4, go to your indicator folder, delete both NLD and NLD helper, re-download both from my post, copy them to the indi folder, restart MT4.

Again, TF setting in NLD should be 0 and in the helper the TF param = number of minutes of the desired TF (M15=15,H1=60, H4 = 240).

If it was my intention to mention the H4 trend, I most certainly would. For me it is a marginal consideration, though.

This is a big surprise for me. I thought that a multi-timeframe approach would be valuable.
But as you are a profitable and experienced trader, I have to trust your opinion.
Other tools that I noticed that you use in your trading is pivot lines and round numbers. Do you use them as possible targets of price movement? As S/R lines ? Or .....?

Not bad for just second week with this strategy. Good and easy way to trade.

Elios, the only opinion you should trust is your own. It is absolutely natural that our views on the market may differ.
As for pivots and round numbers - generally speaking, they help me see the structure of the intraday price action and work very well as both S/R and potential targets.

Not an easy day for me; trying to rush the trades never ends well. Still, I managed to eventually hop on the right train, recover the losses and reach the target.
