No trades today. I work only London session and cant find any good set up. All good ones that you post were in Asían session, I think. Lets wait for tomorrow.

What about when you have 2 opposite entries (sell/buy) like shown here but your broker does not allow hedging? Do you flip side when you get the second signal? or do you just continue with your first entry? thanks

I dont know why, the result is bad with strategy tester, even i use preset from dave.

Solution:
1. closed it when there is opposite direction
2.stay until SL.
3. change your broker

iam sure the EA is working well with BT. Because dave give preset per pair, so you can test it with "strategy tester" on one pair too.

That makes it very difficult for those that have brokers who do not allow hedging (buy and sell of same pair).

There is a work around and it goes something like this. If you originally had a long position (you bought the pair) then:
1) Close your position on the opposite signal
2) Enter two pending orders. The first pending order will be a stop sale at the original SL of the long position and the second pending order will be a buy stop
at the price that the SL for the new sell signal would be.

Of course if the original position was short (you sold the pair) then the pending orders would be a buy stop at the original SL of the short position and a second pending order will be a sell stop at the price that the SL for the new buy signal would be.

It's a bit more work, but it will be the same results. Hopefully that makes sense, and again if it doesn't you can always PM me.

Partly correct. NLD proved to be a very effective visual aid, complementing my own trading style, but that's as far as it goes. I do pay attention to how it 'flows' before placing an order, but there are other things, such as: current price action, higher time frames, ATR, pivots, the time of the day, news, correlations, etc., that I ultimately base my trading decisions on.

Only demo but just lending some support to the idea of using M5 to get moves that are fresh. Using M30 for direction.

Nothing wrong with any of the answers above, but for a different point of view - Lebaneese has not yet said how he reads PA to filter trades, but I think you should know which direction you intend to trade before looking for trades.
