As was forcasted that a DOWN move was expected into the event today, we got a very nice DOWN move and it began the bounce right after the event. Made some very good pips both DOWN & then BUY and again SELL.

Also it shows, how the EUR turned at both the recent turning points...

Slow Market but a nice trade on the Turning Point at trendline support.. Now another turning point coming up and Stochs are high, so looking for SELL opportunity

Bounced between 2 Turning Points, and now heading lower , watching profit at support of trendlines.. Caution FOMC meeting may keep the EURO in range.

Good trades at play at the turning point and some nice pips on the DOWN move as it comes out of TP, but another wall of Turning Points, will watch for trendline to see if it breaks down or rebounds higher..

Indicator has been updated on 1/27/2016 , Please copy TurningPoints.ex4 from 1st Post, now the additional Big Trendlines are included in the indicator. If you learn it's mechanics then it is almost like cash machine. You can enable these trendlines by setting new parameter Show_Big_Trendlines=true/false

TurningPoints.ex4 at 1st Post is not showing at MT4 from indicator folder, but it is there.

Check your directory from where MT4 is launching, goto File >> Open Data Folder and see if all your files are under the MQL4 in this path.

many times your MT4 is running from a roaming folder but you may have copied files in another directory.

Another good trade so far... Automatic trendlines drawn by the indicator clearly showing UPward trend and EURO finding support at the turning point was a good entry...

Abhay,
I've uploaded a screen shot of EUR after v8 update. There are some differences between your chart and the one I uploaded. Other than the difference in TP zones, the new trend line in my version does not trace the lows of the bars as closely as yours.

Is anyone else having some differences too?

Only blue bars here, even looks better...
The trendlines however look fine!

Blue looks nice too.

But you can see the trendline is not the same as Abhay's trendline. There is an extra line in his chart.
Just wondering how to align. It's not a problem.

Actually, it is displaying exactly as mine. My screenshot was posted when the bar was developing and system will recalculate Big TrendLines on every new bar... So when you posted the chart the new big trendline was touching a point a little lower..

I am really exited about your strategy, like to congrats you with your programming skills

I have read all of the 38 pages, perhaps I missed something

to be honest, I want to figure out the background of the strategy

as well how to use all the indicators correctly you provide so great-full.

Perhaps you can give me a hint what I should focus most to begin with?

Grasp the tips given in the manual. Don't look for trade on every turning point bar. separate the trades in slow time period and news impacted fast moving time periods. In slow moving zones, profit targets will be small 10-20 pips and you take the trend at turning point when the momentum exhausts and stochs are high and watching the trendlines on the chart. I take some trades when I know price is not under any news impact and it is not going anywhere just bouncing around. I wait for turning point and if stochs are high supported by trendlines, I go for 10-15 or 20 pips depening on the motion in price.

I have some longer trades that are also guided by my forecast over 2-3 days out and when good price at a good turning point supported by trendlines...

i want this short trendlines alone in ex4 file. can you able to provide abay ji because when ever i apply this turning point my mt4 gets struck so i am asking this help

Jerry, probably you have not updated the indicator. Please copy the file from the first post and let me know if you still have the issue. If you have already copied the latest file then check the parameter Show_Big_Trendlines=true or not

do you have many charts open in the same platform and may be any other very heavy indicators? In my view big trendlines will be very very helpful in good trades but if you want to turn them off then set parameter Show_Big_Trendlines=false
