Ok last 2 trades 123 short from 41 for + 25 it got to within 2 ticks of target mom confirmed and then 2b short mom already confirmed from 21 for + 30

Ok I am done for day 123 long at 41 mom confirmed got up 22 locked in 15 and then took pb to point 2 for +30 this day was incredible what a cash cow this YM I never even nor plan to look anywhere else this is amazing trades last no more than 2 minutes

Big range, but a trading range day thus far nonetheless. I am currently +$27.66 for the day after commissions. Due to the chopchop, my broker has made considerably more than I have.

I will watch a bit longer to see if we get either bull breakout rally mode or a failed breakout short, but otherwise I will break for lunch soon, and I may or may not come back this afternoon to see if there are better conditions for me to trade my style.

Quick screen shot of last hour, inc 3 wins, 1 loss, (prob should have been a BE). Even on the 15 sec chart, some of these set-ups target between 20 & 25 pips, of course, my targets vary according to risk (distance between points 2&3 each time);

Ha, posted before i saw your reply JT... No, i am purely Spread betting at mo, so cost is 1 pip per trade spread, during normal hours.

Most of my UK friends spreadbet because (usually) no tax, but I thought you were in the Ukraine - or was that just The Blonde (I never forget a pretty face) ?

The key, for me (and thus the missing piece before), is to take every single 123 set up that you see with trend.

Caution when last possible HL breached (uptrend), sit back and wait for fresh HH or fresh LL for new direction, still playing around with whether to place stops underneath point 1 instead of aggressively under point 3 and also will experiment with aiming for plus 1.5/2 times risk, but right now i am a little trigger happy, (even waiting for targets at R:R 1:1!)

Indeed in Ukraine! That one didn't work out (the blonde you refer too), but fortunately has been replaced with a superior model! As for SB, not sure, switched years ago and with spreads now being as tight as they are, it suits!

spot on! especially considering your stated starting pot each session, that is some trading D!

I have switched purely to DAX and am turning my back on all FX pairs. The manipulation of the markets, is much easier to follow and trade!

you don't need homeruns to make money just grab the 25 to 30 stop is 15 so with a risk 1 to make 2 deal and a good winning % you can rack up the dough

if DAX is the market for you that has nice daily range for your spread betting then do that and master that market. I have turned off my crude chart coming to the realization that I cant make 30 ticks in 1.5 minutes like the YM and the way I see it and I could be wrong that if crude drops it hurts stock market and that helps me since YM is the dow

Yeh, it's only really the last few days that i have crossed a few 'i's and dotted some 't's, the dow similarly has 1 pip spread during hours, so will change to that if i still find myself trading later in the day...

My first trade this morning was a winner within 20 seconds! I opened it with a ticket, went to adjust the stop on the platform and it had hit target!

Anyway... i often wonder whether to share my thoughts and charts on here, but figure that it is a popular thread on a decent forum. If nobody posted, there would be no point!

With that in mind, i thought i would post a reminder of yesterdays C&H;
