I like your attitude, yet this "grail system" headline already had my alarm bells ringing ... and RR is such a common abbreviation in trading literature etc. that I do not believe any successful trader does not know it.

Anoseg - Not all divergences work, but when it does then price goes the way shown from the indicator, which was the case in your number 5 example.

Well Ipsula,
We can't figure out how to make money from your divergent system, especially those who put down 10 Lots on your latest example.. but obviously you can make money from your system trades( going from $1000 account to $9700 in 8 months ), so continue on.... and let us know your trade profits ( and losses ).

I know that not all divergeces work, in fact the example I've posted is just a superficial view from more complex analysis . We can say it was a joke

Hi, nope. It's the built-in metatrader 4 DeMarker indicator. I was chosing that because everybody use MACD, Stochastic and RSI but not DeMarker. In my opinion, every oscilator is good because you are looking for divergences. So what make a oscilator more good than others ? The "others" . What mean that ? It should be used in cojunction with trend . No trend defined , no divergences that work. When you spot a trend and trade only hidden divergences, voila, divercences work flawless. Btw, i recommend Stochastic 8,3,3 and CCi for trading hidden divergences because it work good at turning points and you have OverBought and Oversold levels wich you can use as a filter to measure the strenght of the move.

I think divergence should be used only to time a trade. Once you get a trade signal in higher time-frame, you can use the divergence in lower time-frame to time your entry. Any other use of divergence is not that impressive.

I am totally confused after reading all 18 pages....

Started thread with "GRAIL" "GRAIL" "GRAIL"...
than questioned about entry & exit of system......Initial told "NO SL"(because its "GRAIL") and TP @ 20 Points.....
Than posted past charts... (Not at useful)....all systems are good for past analysis) in fact this is not even a system....

Than tried to post one Live chart (100% Guarantee) .....And posted with "SL" and No TP

WHen asked, it was replied as TP is much Bigger..... (how come earlier statement of NO SL and Only 20 point TP) suddenly disapeeared with same "GRAIL" indicator

Seriously, no offence to anyone, but if you are posting on thread at least have some sanctity and Integrity.

What was thread all about????? What did you prove???? You are not answering any of the critics since long.... OR may be busy with modifying and coding your SECRET GRAIL

No SL = not worth reading. (ESPECIALLY ON SHORTER TIME FRAMES) (ESPECIALLY ON FOREX).
If God himself (for those that believe in God) would tell me: "Behold DemoAntares, tomorrow USD/CAD will fall 400 pips - take your short position NOW" - I would PROBABLY take the short entry now (because I believe in God, but that's not the point) - BUT I WOULD ALSO PUT A STOP LOSS no matter if God, Voodoo doll, Ipsula, the late spirit of Napolen, or any other "individual" instructed and suggested the trade.

EDIT: I quote the very first post in this thread: "I am in forex 5 years, all this years i practice and discovered only one traiding technique - divergence traiding. Finally i got something amazing - signals which works in 85-90 procents in all history and all pairs."

Explanation: I have marked in bold the numbers 85-90 for a reason. So in the rest 10-15 "procents" YOU DON'T HAVE A STOP LOSS.

Case closed.
