I also caught the AUDJPY and used another indicator to catch the uptrend!

The first steps if you like to work with 28 pairs and currency strength!


Fill the history data of your mt4 platform with all pairs and all TFs. How to do this? If it is the first time to update then I use safed profiles. So now many people are not used to profiles what is this? You do (hopefully) know how to safe a template of a chart and reload this template on a new chart. Now a profile is just one level higher. It safe all the charts you have open at that time with all the different templates on and all the TFs. (sorry mine is German but you will understand its easy)

Click on File
Click on profiles
Click on safe profile

So you will safe your profile to a name you will recognize. Later you will find it in the list and can come back to it any time.

To load now all the history data I post here a zip file with 8 profiles, each with all pairs at one TF each.

Again you Click on File
Click on Open Data Folder

Copy and past all PROFILES FOLDERS in that folder

Got +25 from upper short, lower one hit BE. Now plan is changed, longs on table, looking for retrace to get in.

I think this goes for all EUR pairs, EU is aswell bottomed so likely up now.

I am finding the DAILY time frame strength meter is a great way to discover longer term trends forming. I look for the two currency lines to cross one another at an acute angle. Try going back in history to confirm the power of this technique. One of my Sunday study steps for the upcoming trading week will be to determine which pairs have such crosses.

Would you mind explaining what double gap means....not sure what it refers to. The space between the lines after a cross over ?

Hi Bernhard

Do you know if you use the Force Load Historical Data script then this may solve the problem of having to do this loading of all time frames. It loads up all the data for all time frames on all currency pairs, takes a while about 15 mins if it's the first time you have used it but you probably only have to use it once then that's it. Just drop the script onto any chart, have your terminal tab open and experts clicked to make sure it has worked.

I myself posted this script many times since some mt4 builds it does not work confident. It say all ok but its not. If you check the charts new data its not written. To have good info you wont be sure history data is right.

Getting better with this technique and loving it! Two short trades NZDJPY 30min for ~+100pips. Could have let it run even more but had to set a TP as I was away from the charts. Bernhard, thanks for this indicator!
