Yes your entry would have been good.

I've attached an m30 EU chart with a prelim order just taken. For the time being I've been taking small positions to fully check out this particular strategy

I'm not after a big move just 20 pips will do for now on this t/f. I've clarified my entry ref the notes added to the chart for you to see more clearly what I'm looking for both firstly and secondly which hopefully is self explanatory.

the moving average the simples --------
have more curves
dont have good spikes like old lines.

Sure they do...nothing in that respect has changed. Same chart attached now zoomed out a little.....you can see that the peaks and troughs are still very obvious.

You could be right....tbh it's got a bit messy on the chart at the mo for my liking...and that's one of the reasons I'm always happier on longer t/fs, but for now I'm checking out this strategy on lower than usual t/fs rather than wait for days on end.

Yeah nothing moves in a straight line for long and the lower t/fs makes it even more difficult i think to become consistent due to the chop that inevitably occurs....and I agree with you in that it almost becomes a coin toss

Yeah I reckon you work hard patrolling 2 threads. I'd say that most are certainly missing a trick here by not contributing to your thread which has some decent content to share if others were to get involved more.

It's their loss though...not yours mate!

Kobol007 I found this thread interesting because most of us can relate to some of your sediments on learning to successfully trade the lower TF. I have found it interesting and humorous at times. Laughing with you Kobol007.

Kobol007 I think you should review all the different approaches that you have tried and settle on one and only one for some time and really learn it well. Most if not all systems that you have tried can be traded successfully but it comes down to the trader in the end. Pick your favorite way of trading (or system) and stick with it only,for some extended time.

For instance some traders would say the landlines way of trading is really just a MA cross and most would say you cant make money doing that in the long run. I would disagree-- Many can and do trade some sort of MA cross and do very well.

I use a MA cross for my scalping and it has not let me down from the beginning. over time and practice and more practice I have been able to make it work consistently for me. Just my pips worth-- I will go back to lurking now.......

i dont know how i will ask i will try.
my journey forex/binary options , i will try find a logical in my system ,not the holy gray but some statistic or some consistent to work.
i try many systems yes.and not found logic.thought that a part of me , when i dont get my targets... yes ... i m not happy ... and slpagging system yes.
no system conviced me ...so far ...now i am working with landline style forex/binary options ... i find some logic ..
i will work with this strategy this year and if this not work , the next step is out forex/binary options

but appear the logic i want is only price ,and now understand better this.
