Fundamentally the AUD is stuffed.

RBA needs to cut and make that quickly.

Australia is all innovation this and that but really nothing but BS has come from the Govt and the opposition are worse.

Govt needs to get ready to act.

What is also happening is that Australian retirees have money tied up in shares thanks to the Superannuation structure (NOT !) which allows Australians to choose their own retirement scheme.
Equities are falling in value and the outlook isn't great.

Lets not forget that Australia hasn't been in recession since last century and the mention of the R word will scare and over reaction may occur.

For medium termers is short the AUD .. Cost of carry is the only concern but I think many aren't short so this may drop quicker than many think.

The pullback on the AUDUSD to the 0.7036 could be over and since the bearish trend is still in place, the pair may try to visit the low at the 0.6926 again.

DOW should help things along

1st weekly close below the major ascending TL

It's interesting that news items were all over the previous TL breaks (NOT CLOSES THOUGH) back in August, saying "LOOK OUT BELOW", just before it rallied nearly 3000 points
