Folks:
A great/AWSEOME year is ahead of us. This EA is going to make for a great arsenal for us to use and make profit.
For the last 2 weeks I did not see any of the test EA accounts. But I just looked at the Oanda account and at first I thought naw... can't be....
The TakeHalf LeaveRest trade that was taken 3 weeks ago on GBPUSD is now at +398 pips. This is what I meant when I said "I only know that when I get in at the correct price that I WILL get a great runner." Now this account has taken losses and in fact the drawdown must be terrible LOL. Right now if I did not have the winning trade the account would be -16% down. But since I do have that winner the account equity is in great status. I expect more winners to come too.

Anyhow look at the chart. Look at the trades that happened before, what I am trying to illustrate is the mentality of what traders really mean and how important it is to KNOW that you WILL get a great pip runner that will FORGIVE ALL the SINS of the trade activity. Remember SIN means to miss the mark,, to miss the goal which is PROFIT .

Here is an indicator that might be of value for getting out of a trade, especially when trading the M15 and looking for relatively small moves.

So if long, then get out when the indicator is < 0. Opposite for short.

What experience do you have with this indicator? What I mean is this. I took a look at it and I noticed that the change from positive to negative (or vice versa) happens in the past with no problems. My concern is that does it happen in real time, like now. I used an indicator that was very similar to this one. The problem was that in real time it didn't cross the zero line till later, then as time went on it would adjust and THEN you would see the actual cross. LEt me know what you have observed.

Update v8 and Multiv6. Made minor correction to the EAs and fixed another issue I saw with the indicator.
NOTE: This week I am going to use the 4H Heiken to track the upper TF trend instead of the 3sema.

If I have this current EA running like I did last night and the daily ha switch from green to red does the EA have to be refreshed in order to start catching sell trades because when I woke up this morning the indicator still said it was long and I have everything set to follow the daily ha trend. Then I logged out and logged back in and the indicator showed sell trend along with sell arrows.

Where the green line is is a buy trade that was successfully taken because at that time the trend switch to green on the daily HA?

Did you pick the D1 HeikenA or the H4 HeikenA on the EA? Let me know the settings u have on both indicator and EA. Based on what I see you have the indicator set to the D1 HeikenA and the EA set to H4 HeikenA . BTW, the top set of bars are D1 and the bottom set are H4 on the MTF indicator.

I am using the H4 HeikenA myself and got that very trade on EURUSD, which was successful, it got half and then just went to break even. I also have the EA on AUDUSD, now that one got half profit and the left over profit is still going strong. , I'll post results in a bit.

Anyhow let me know, your settings and then I'll try to see what happened.

Both are set to Daily HA for trend. The Ea was not set for 4 hour but daily HA also im not sure what you saw on my chart that indicated that. I put the Multi HA indicator on the 15 minute chart and both daily and 4 hour time frames are showing but the EA and indicator were both set to Daily HA

Ok, when I get home I will look at the EA to make sure that I am not sending it to the H4 HA when you pick the D1 HA.

The reason I thought that you might of had it on the H4 Ha was cause the trade lined up with the H4 bars. That might just be the case, I might of made a mistake and made the function on the EA go to the H4 HA no matter if u picked D1 HA or not. It's a quick fix, I just look at what the indicator is doing and have the same thing be done in the EA ... stay tuned.

Corrections to version8 and Multiv6.

I made adjustments to how v8 indicator and EA read the HA bars.
Made same adjustments on Multiv6 and updated the dropdown menu to reflect a more correct way of identifying the Upper Trend for HA.
Now you are either use 1TF up or 2TF up for the HA autoTrend detection. v8 Indi and EA retain the same names, H4 and D1.

Checks:
Yes, repaint has shown it's head. I just noticed that my EA took a LONG on EURUSD (not the one u had on your picture, but a later one). Right now the HA indicator on H4 is showing red bars and that long should not of been taken, So more than likely the they were green and then changed after a couple of bars later.

Several corrections. I forgot to add the right candle when detecting the HA on the upper TF. I was using what I though was the current candle, so I fixed it toget the correct bars for the upperTrend HA detection

Please download this version, updated that last post too.

not sure what i am doing wrong, but this EA not working for me. divided that by 2 coz I am testing H4 and D1 HA signal

Wow I got sells for most of the GBPUSD/EURUSD/AUDUSD pairs and my trade activity was not as much as what you are showing.

Make sure u downloaded the latest v8 EA or Multiv6 EA. Cause as I was adjusting things I made the mistake of having the EA detect the WRONG candle for the first post of v8. I made the corrections and it's on the last post. Or just go to the site, I always have the latest posted stuff there.
FxPro right? IB Broker? I forget which broker u are using. Let me know so I can fire it up and we can compare my results with yours.

One more thing, make sure u have the #MTFHA that I placed, if u use the regular #MTFHA then it may be using a different TF.
That should not be the case cause the EA would warn u and not run.

Looks as if this ea is beginning to do right. My demo was down 1400$ and now I have 600$ to go. Maybe by the end of the week I will be even. However there is occasionally a trade taken that makes no sense. I use the dailyHA to determine trend so I get the following:

Wait till u see my accounts (30-50% profit). I currently have 3 BE runners and they are all in triple digits I think the total is over 1000 pips.... I think. I am waiting till the end of this week before I present the results.

That trade, that you show, should not of been taken UNLESS if the Daily REPAINTED. If your broker has the same start time as mine then it should not have happened cause we essentially have the same data feed.

Ok... tell me the broker u are using. I would like to run it on my machine and see if I can get the error again. Please look at the EXPERTS tab and search for the Trader entry. Remember that the EA prints out all the parameters just before a trade is taken. In order to find it look for the Time stamp of the arrow before the trade was taken. That should help u pinpoint the print statements. There will be several, you will see like start and end section, sort of, so take a pic and post it so I can examine it.

Actually I didn't think any of this is a big problem. The fact that this version of the EA is pulling me back from a balance of about $8600 at the beginning of the week and now it is $9400 and am running two trades that look as if they will end in gains. I am using the broker Squared mt4. I'll be working on getting you the other info.

Awesome thnx, take your time. I know that we are getting to the end of this development. Like I mentioned before, I will be adding more MM features, things like tracking % for the week and tracking % from initiation. I also will see if I can synch the EA with the indicator inputs. That way if u turn on the EA, the inputs will automatically be set on the indicator when you slap that on. This will be up to the user of course. Also need to fix the day change on the indicator, it is still messing up when the day changes. Then will test to make sure the Multi version is working. I took a brief look and I know that one of the Upper TFs is not detected correcting when you try using H4 or H1, one of those 2 so that has to be fixed.

OH WAIT>>!! I forgot STOCKS are next. The code is already for taking on STOCKS I just haven't tested the best TFs that can be used. But I don't think that will take long to determine once all the bugs are fixed on this one.

HMMM LOL... I just thought of something. I am going to do a CONTEST version. I was thinking that we can use this EA to enter contests. In those cases the MM will change so it can compete with those other EAs that rack up PIPs like crazy. Also in order to protect the code I was thinking of making it different, something that you can give them but they would not necessarily have a stand alone product. For example I could place all important code on my server and just have like a skeleton EA that retrieves numbers and places trades. This way even though u give them the code they don't have the WHAT produces the numbers. HMMM maybe I'm not that close to the END as I imagined LOL!!!

Anyhow, The higher TF stuff will yield CRAZY pips, like I told u on the 15min I currently have 3 BE runners plus an added EURAUD trade that is already at BE, so I may have 4 BE runners next week. IF at 15min those are a total of over 1000 pips, imagine at the higher TFs....... CRAZY...FUN... AWESOME PIPS!

Oh another thing that was interesting. On the AUDUSD trade, since the SL in pips was small, the lotsize was calculated fairly large. So when that one went BE, even though half of the lots went away, the left over half was still large. The account balance is about 7600 and the lotsize used initially used on the trade was 2.8 standard lots. After the TaKeHalf_LeaveRest_BE took affect the lot size was now about 1.4 standard lots. The trade is at about 450 pips.

The trick is that you need to be PATIENCE and not close anything. When the week started I was tempted to close all positions on the first day, cause I already had a 5% overall total profit. 5% is good right? But naw... I stepped away and let MM do it's thing.... and just WAIT WAIT WAIT. I tell you, I had other trades that took off and closed at BE and of course have had several losers. But it's obvious by letting the BE's run in the longer run they take care of all the losers and much more.

I traded the Freebie system last week on demo and I have to say that it is a very good system! I only trade the first 4hours of the Germany and London open.

I want to try your EA next week and I have some questions:

Does the EA also use the AMAopt Slope (this one is very good combined with the Semafor!

Can you show/share me your EA settings V8, SL, TP and Trail ?

As I can see you did a lot of good work for it! thanks for sharing your talents

How many charts do you run (and wich ones). My computer can not load all the charts with the EA and becomes very slow. Do you know about this problem?

Other than the indicators mentioned on page 1 (I hope u read that) the EA uses additional indicators to detect the upper TF trend. When u click on the autoTUseAutoTrend input, u see a drop down list. Those are the only other indicators that are used.
So no, the AMAopt Slope indicator is not used. Tell me how would u use the AMAopt Slope combined with the the 3sema? Would we use it to detect the upper trend or as part of the page 1 instructions (for detecting entry trades)? Let me know and I can add it so it can be tested.

My EA settings appear on the posts where I updated the EAs and indicator. They are fairly simple. Since I just added the HA trend detections this week, that was the only thing I changed. My setting are all default, except the following:
1. UseAutoTrend=D1_HeikenAsh ( I started this week with H4_HeikenAsh but changed it Monday evening, will explain later)
2. I have PercentRisk=3

I am a long term trader, that's why you see a 3% risk per trade. I am use to 5% risk so 3% is not a problem for me. Again cause I am a long term trader I let the Break Even Trades runnnnn

DO NOT Thank me yet. The THNX will be the day that one of us reports back with an incredible return that provides big constant $$$$ for them
So in reality this PROJECT has a little bit more to GO.

So your machine slowed down. I can only say that the 3sema is more than likely the culprit. I have not tested the EA by having it run on many pairs. I will look into that. I can adjust the 3sema so it does not take a lot of memory, perhaps that will help it. I'll mess with this later.

I only trade 4 pairs. On the Broker TradeKing I use EURUSD, AUDUSD, GBPUSD, and EURAUD. On Oanda I trade EURUSD, AUDUSD.
So far(I will show this at the end of this week) Oanda has had NO DRAWDOWN and right now that account is at about 49% profit. Before this week the profit was at about 0.1%, but this week with the way things moved in the market and the addition of the HA upper TF we had a considerable move.
