I know, i am a bore. But i am also a realistic trader. If you are posting weekly results like profit 1000, loss 500, net PL 500 that looks like a good profit. Well it is, until you hit those two or three weeks when everything works against you and the profit won't be 1000 but the loss will still be the 500..... If you start on a live account with larger margin requirements and you hit those weeks in the begin you are wiped out. Starting with fi. a $1000, hit two bad weeks of -$100 and are left with $800 it will make it a multiple times harder to...

If you can not afford 1000 when going live, find a broker that will let you start start with the amount you can start with on a demo.
Why do you think most brokers will only let you open a demo of 5000 and higher ?
If you have to test on a larger account adapt your lot size, find out your broker margin requirements and then at the end of the week do the math and see if your account would have survived with the max loss over that week.
O, and run a myfxbook or something like that on it.
Have a good look at the equity curve.
