dx daily has a nice bounce on the LML as far as the near term price action

channel projection off the lows doesn't look too bad either on the 240m

A look at equities...big institutional selling yesterday...doesn't look good going forward ...

you are posting extremely interesting stuff.....
I noticed sometimes you apply normal pitchfork, sometimes the Schiff and someothers the mod Schiff: what drives your choise?

I don't know if there is a specific name for it, but usually when a swing is getting put in at a high or low I use the standard fork to map the new trend or correction of the current trend, using the last three pivots into the high or low then as the market turns looks at the first three pivots coming out of the turn...if it appears to be a corrective move I will use the modified schiff for the corrections...you're typical harmonic pattern, a symmetrical corrective abc pattern.

But really...if the slope looks good use it, no real rules about using one or the other. Two things that you are looking for is slope and frequency/amplitude of that slope...if price is respecting those two things use it, until it shows you otherwise.

Think of it as a measuring tool on a slope as opposed to your horizontal Fibonacci measuring tool.

I like to use the standard fork at double tops and bottoms to catch that first test at a lower high or higher low...where there is no trend line in place yet...you can have some confidence trading that line if the there is some action on the handle and median line before the first test of the upper median line for a down-sloping fork or the first test of the lower median coming off a double bottom. Hope this helps.

Best thing to do is forget about the market and the time frame and just look at it as price action and "hunt" for the frequency of it, because it's always in there...it may take some time to find it but once you do it usually sticks out like a sore thumb. Don't worry about trying to catch it as first develops because it won't matter...once you have it mapped there will be plenty of opportunities later down the line to take trades.

One thing I haven't mastered that Tim Morge is great at, is his "corner" trade...he has a way of identifying the "C" pt of the fork as it is developing, but he's the man if you want to really know what's up. Don't worry about chasing the trade in other words because the market will always give you a second chance for entry. I usually don't see the frequency until well after price has developed and I can see the validation in multiple places...good luck and happy forkin
