Hi Zizo, all the very best for this year, had a great holiday thanks. 1 week in Coffs Harbour, 1 week at home, then 1 week in Foster, now enjoying the weekend. Hottest Christmas/New Year week in a long time, just like the old days

GBPUSD looks very bearish to me, accelerating to the downside to take out April lows after retesting the monthly channel in May/June (note hesitation candle in Dec 2014 at the Channel line). We have a breakout of a monthly pattern in November, retested in December, and down we go.

That's my view anyway

I do believe we are going down some more to test the lower trend line of this triangle, but I also notice that everybody is short and the cat, so they may surprise us, careful, I will lock in profits if I was you, but that is only me, lol......

...It is a big triangle as you can see in this monthly but I think is valid, what do you think?

I don't want to believe that is the end of this channel up so I think it will bounce up here at the lower trend line, but we will see soon enough on Sunday, good luck to all....

11. Currencies Macro Expectations 2016

---> GBP ...".the beginning of the end in the old empire"

For the first time in nearly 6 years Sterling may leave the super noisy chop zone and become one of the best trading opportunities for late 2016 (and beyond). Among major currencies this is the only pair with Long Term levels in play for the yearly close.

We are set to lose the 1.53xx handle for the year on today's close unlocking the mid term leg to 1.436x with extension 1.380x and more importantly and impressive the long term to 1.210x with extension to parity (YES PARITY in the) and strong intermediate stop 1.052x.

There is only BOE hikes in play for Q2/Q3 but failure to hike with the massive self-inflicted uncertainty of the EU referendum next summer could mark the start of the end of Sterling as major currency in World markets.

For the first time since 2008, Greece may not be in the spotlight but the UK EU referendum will be the main geopolitical play in Europe for next year that will affect not only the Pound and Euro but it could extend as far as the CHF and the minors (SEC, NOK, etc).

Time to bring back Sterling on the trading workspace ...

....On the euro front....I see this pair oversold as RSI and MACD are down there and it needs to raise a bit in order to come down, but is being going up so the new candle may open under the yellow ema 5 and come down to break the green trend line of the triangle and cross, if it opens on the upper side of the yellow ema 5 is going up.....

....Weekly is betwing a hard place and a rock, trap by the two emas, yellow 5 and green 30, looks like it wants to go test or retest the green line down there from the triangle, if it cross it may go places, but if is no volume or power it may bounce up, so we will have to wait and see what this pair want to make for January first week, my bet is up, green candle to take the green ema 30 and go up.....

... and daily is down.... going for that green lower trend line, so not too much sync here on the higher time frames, some are up and some are down, once they get together, they will show the way.....

..4H is down also, so it may keep going down, why I'm long here, well I see RSI over sold down there at the 30 line so I don't like it down there so I went long I may be wrong, being wrong before, but I rinse and repeat, you can't win them all......

That is a very good approach, Sir tashkent, sale rallies......happy New year sir Tashkent, many pips for you this year sir.....

...I believe a good sale entrie could be at the red ema 100...I'm long true there, red ema is my target now...but it may drop before, so I don't know, don't follow me....

just cashed my first 100 pips from GU short for this year, so beginning is not bad at all.
there are many good opportunities across the board (AUDNZD long, EURCAD short etc)
my GU sell order is 1.4780, Sir

.....4780, 4775 that is more or less where my red ema 100 is on the 15m chart, wish is a good time frame to turn for the trend, wish is down, good luck sir. Tashkent on that trade, I wish you the best, and yes 100 pips to start the year is very good, I hope many more will come and they will, just focus and be discipline, patience is a virtue......
