The attendance level is pretty low in this thread. I think it would be a good idea to open a new thread, cos many traders are discouraged due to topic's title (10 sec). It sounds like HFT for many. Don't you think?

Thread title could be the reason, especially the scalping bit as the general consensus here on FF tends to be towards trading high TF charts. Having watched this thread since its inception I am not sure you are even what most would call a scalper (even that term seems to have no agreed meaning anymore LOL). Sure you use low TF charts but you trade durations are quite long. Keep the thread going or start a new one, you do have a dedicated and appreciative following. Thanks for taking the time to post here and share your trades, it is very informative.

Agreed, according to "classic terminology" I am not really a scalper, even using 12 seconds chart.
Anyway, I decided to study/try other methods as well, which are "real" (faster and shorter) scalping. But, for the time being it is totally comfortable for me.

Seems like most traders drop to lower TF charts for entry confirmation. I trade T1, most trades last less than a minute. No question, I am a scalper. Fractal nature of price movement means there are the same patterns even at this level.

1 tick? :nerd: Hardcore.
Fractal nature: absolutely. Every tfs are almost the same, one has to find the most comfortable for him/her. It is all about individuals.

Quick +65 pips on DAX. The Classic Trade: break out > rebound > break out > target. See the support line, this can be found on my previous "level-map". (Date on the picture is my broker's server time.) {image}

Ok - only because my hands were itching, while relaxing a bit...

spread are a bit high, so had to take a little bit more risk.

Will post up a chart some time but actually testing a new platform after exchanging PMs with you. Have migrated from M1 TF to T1 in last month so all my previous time based settings for indies no longer valid.

Happy to share my system rules though;

1) What is the daily bias, only trade in that direction
2) Trade breakouts above/below MAs, only enter after price breaches previous H/L after retracement. Price level B in diagram below.
3) Exit when momentum exhausts, either TSI (favoured indie) or price MAs X.

Ok so the only thing you are missing is a volatility indicator (time), hence one sec...however not really needed for now...if you find an indicator for mt4 that draw a TF (with a verticale-line) on your charts...you would have the same thing...the further the v-lines are apart (each one sec for example) the slower the market is...

micro scalping is very profitable for sure but ecn commissions plus spread decreases your profit around 50% if you target 2 pip tp
I dont go more than 3-4 pips tp. At the end of the day when I see the commission ı paid i feel pretty upset.
My scalping technique involves pure price action (naked trading) I dont trade without $dxy and $djcmed so I use TOS platform along with mt4 with tick and sec. bars.
Also using one click trading panel "close all","close all profit" "reverse" buttons are must
