Can a Trader Take Advantage of the IMFs Chinese Yuan Decision?

There is no doubt that Yuan joining SDR basket is a milestone event, but for investors and traders, how would you benefit from this new development?

In her latest article on DailyFX.com, Renee Mu discusses a list of opportunities that you may be able to use to invest in China at the moment or in the near future.
I am short on the YUAN. I reckon we see $6.9-7 by the end of next year. Should be a no brainer to short and go long short. Consider it a 6-12 month investment for a short that should pay well

Lets see what percentage tomorrow will bite out of the yuan...
Insanity: doing the same over and over again & expecting different results!
That Yuan is still dropping and will most likely continue to drop. First quarter exports out of China are usually weak. Kind of odd to see YEN strengthening while Yuan and Euro weaken.

China blocked these two banks most likely due to their short position on Chinese Yuan

there is a good position now, I long USDCNH at 6.69, target, at least to 7.0 before March

the Chinese Central Bank paid a lot to get it down, but I donot think it will of help, the A shares stoped within no more than 30 mins, it will go up much tomorrow.

The CNH has historically traded within a very narrow range against the benchmark CNY as traders anticipate the Peoples Bank of China will keep volatility low in the benchmark domestic currency. Yet a recent surge in the USD/CNH warns that many fear the Chinese central bank may look to force further depreciation in the CNY. And indeed, this is one of the clear signs which warn of the potential for volatility ahead. Quantitative strategist discussing this in his article today on DailyFX.com.

It's the USD/CNH (offshore yuan) i am also positive we see a huge drop @ the yuan although last couple of days China has been intervening.
