It's the same thing. I control the server. Basically what I would do is just copy the files on that server and place then here. It would essentially be the same.
Your deal has to do with something simple. I am thinking of how to diagnose your situation. One way is to make a simple script that has the same elements as the EA but only for executing trades. I would have u then run the script to see if the functions work on your account.

One thing u can double check is to see where your data folder is and that you have the EA in the EXPERT folder. This is just a double check cause I can see the indicator is running on your platform which tells me that you have the correct data folder.

Question: Is Oanda the only platform in which the EA is not taking trades? Didn't you use it before on a different broker and were seeing trades ??

I only had it on Oanda. It started out working but as I continued to download the newest EA you developed it stopped taking trades. The EA shows up in the Data folder.

Hello everybody" I have been quiet for a couple of days. Have been trying to set up two demos with Assetsfx from Finland and Brokerforex inc. The Assetsfx was set up with 4 currencies and the half profit and break even, everything else was as downloaded. This morning I got 4 trades. A loser on the eurusd, two winning trades on audusd and one winner with usdjpy. I like the multiple charts, it makes the platform busy. The Brokerforex account keeps denying trades code 133. I talked with a rep and she told me that I should not be having a problem. I believe their platform has problems. I took a manual trade and closed it so now I will wait to see what it does. But it looks as I am in profit on the live and demo account!!

I was getting error code 134 then I stop getting error codes after I changed to the newest EA.

Okay this particular EA seemed to work but with these particular settings. Here is a sell trade on the Aud/Usd the EA just took.

It looks as if pm New York trading time is not good for this ea, ( or any trading).

Iam getting the message of not opening the indicator file. It was doing ok al day until now.

Good info now we are getting somewhere. When u say this particular EA do you mean the current EA or a previous EA.?

Go to this page and scroll down to where Raptor has his post. Look as his screen shots and check to see you have the same. You already did one of them, we just need to make sure the other one is also checked properly.

As far as the EA is concerned it doesn't use that indicator anymore. Make sure u down load the one from my site:
http://xm7.info/ea/freebie

That missing file is used by the indicator, so that would be affected. Make sure you go to that folder and SEE that the file is in there:
C:\Users\Jon\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\70AD4786F1AF2E137F831CD4EF134E7B\MQL4\indicators

I have seen this before. You think the indicator is in the right place but it isn't. This is because once in a while when u install MT4 it will create two sets of DATA folders. One under "C:\Users\(you username)\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes" and the other under ProgramFiles/MT4 (or wherever you told it to install). So once u install it you happily place indictors and EAs under ProgramFiles/MT4, but MT4 really looks under "C:\Users\(you username)\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes. Since the files are not in that directory it COMPLAINS lol. In one of my previous posts I show and image of how to get to the DATA folder. Real simple, go to FILE and scroll down till u see DATA FOLDER. that will open up the exact data folder that MT4 is using. Hope that helps.

Mine looks different and some of the options Raptor shows on his page are no where to be seen on mine trading platform i unchecked and checked all the boxes that I saw that were similar to mine

That's the one I wanted you to check, you had already done the other one.
What I see checked on that image is correct.

I assume you had more checks on it? I wasn't clear on that so I think you did cause you indicate that "checked all the boxes that I saw that were similar to mine " which to me means that you had checked other boxes, right?


Guys:
Here's an update for this weeks trade activity on this EA. The settings are 3% risk and TakeHalf_LeaveRestBE. There is profit. roughly a 3.3% gain for the week.
I am only using 4 pairs and only have the EA on the charts, no indicators nor anything. I do check some of the trades on another MT4 with the indicators and etc.
Anyhow stay tuned I am almost done with some modifications to the EA and Indicator. Lets see how it continues to do.

Hello everyone I've followed this thread for over a year now and every trade taken in agreement with rules have worked out. This is a profitable system that works on all time frames.
Hi,xmess7 I love and appreciate what u are doing. I don't like robots but would if u can develop this system as a single indicator using the rules that appears on the chart showing entries then trades can be taken manually. I' be very greatful if this can be done. Thaks for considering this.

Ahhh well there is an indicator already . The only thing with the indicator is that it has a bug. The bug is that you have to refresh it in order to get the latest signal. For now we are using it to compare the EA signals with the indicator signals. The next version solves this problem, I am testing it today to release it soon. For now just be be aware, of this because of the nature of the repainting or recalculation of the 3sema indicator many times when u refresh it you will get a different answer. When I say different answer I am referring to the previous candles showing entry where there were none. It's kinda tricky to think about but this is due to the nature of the way the 3sema repaints on the D1 TF. The idea here is that when we do get a signal to be able to get any PROFIT before anything changes. This doesn't happen all the time but when it does that is the thing we look for.

Like you I didn't care for robots. But after alot of consideration I have decided to use robots ONLY to trade those hours where I am ASLEEP LOL, or busy with living a LIFE LOL. So it is VERY IMPORTANT for me to develop programs that MIMICK EXACTLY AS IF I WERE TRADING. For example on the next versions both the EA and the indicator will tell you if you are missing any needed files. It will even tell you exactly where they need to be.

Anyhow I have just solved the refresh problem and will be publishing the updated EA and Indicator here soon. Stay tuned.

BTW, the account I am working just added another $291. Total profit has gone up from $270 to $561. What is saving my trades and adding to profit is the TakeHalf_LeaveRestBE. Which in reality is not complete done. I will be correcting an error that the TakeHalf_LeaveRestBE has in the next version.

Next week I am going to raise the RiskPercent up to 5% and see if it is still consistent.

Yea, give it time. In fact if you look at the last two days it seems to be taking a turn, but it is too early to tell. I think when I correct the GetHalf_LeaveBE yer results may become more profitable.
