u can lough at my trades if you want to guys. i don't mind. the idea is that I'm trying to learn from my own mistakes here. and my first mistake is that i noticed the momentum that price came at the place where i entered but still was focusing on candles that had long wigs, which is a sign of weakness. then i entered. never again if price doesn't show weakness in momentum!
a smart guy learns from mistakes of the others, a stupid one, from his own (such as me)

Dear UJ and all other senior traders in this thered,
first i apologise to all of you because i have something to tell about the FORBIDDEN item in this thread. with all respect to Mr. Pip's guide for indicators usage, i still feel some indicators can give amazing result in combination with Harmonic patterns,
in below chart of AUDUSD, i have identified butterfly formation and AB=CD formation within BFly.
my plan is to sell CD leg with 1st target on AB=CD prz and second target near Bfly PRZ.(Long term trend is down for this pair)

Now for entering i use H4, where it is now oversold (stoch 12,3,3), my idea it will go up (evn if not upto overbought) and then would turn down with cndlstk sell signal for better entry. however stop will be above present C point.

please put your valuable opinion on my trade plan.

Fat cats have closed all their long positions and are selling now. If price retraces enter short. Now we're looking at the major harmonics completion ABCD. I'm not at my pc right now but I'll show u the graph in a while.

like a said, with this high momentum down, i'm afraid i wont be seeing any retrace at all and price might had south at 1.0520 where we have completion of harmonics ABCD. even then, careful with going long. we need to see smaller harmonics completed there too for confluence, just like we did in the previous swing low where we played around with gartleys, sharks and ABCDs. ok?

Hello Folks !! Nice trades !!!
I had this one this morning. NU Gartley.
My target Tp2 was 1,5 R:R. I moved my my sl to be at tp1(38%), and got be, price didn't reach my target TP2(61%).
Ive seen some ppl take partial profit at 38%, and the rest at 61%. But in this case R:R is 1,2:1 not 1,5:1 like in my case.

My question what is better move SL to BE at 38% and wait for 61% for target, or take partial profit at 38 %?
And if you take partial profit, what it would be 1/3 or 1/2 of position ?

I'm not sure if there is a spesific post that explains precisely ABCD projections. I'm affraid you have to read all the thread at least up to page 100. By then , you should be able to see what i see in the chart and these projections will come as bread and butter to you. Just take the efforts of doing that. And don't forget to watch ALL the videos of Mr.Pip. They are priceless!
