I had an open long was just looking for 5 pips and almost had it but didnt even look at what news were coming up so lucky I had just placed my sl. 5 min before 11am.

What great Karma some people give some us down the ladder trying keep the dream of being successful in are Mutual love of Forex . One my favourite advisors said treat it as fun thanks mate ! One day it's been said we might be able to pass on that good old Karma off What goes around comes around . Much respect . Currently in a draw down who's fault Mine and trying to trade with no emotion it helps !

Infinite variations as PA moves - here, a continuation pattern of 'running correction' with extended (b) wave, expecting further upside movement as it's doing now.

Hey! that's a good question I've been thinking about next.
Looking at H4 chart, a typical impulse wave from 14th May high, with it's wave iv almost complete.
Working with Fib ratios, the 5th wave v impulse could be heading down towards v = i, or more ?

Unless you're after the immediate bounce for intraday, buy the dip at wave (ii) bottom or right close to bottom channel line, and SL under channel line for invalidation.... plenty of R/R.

These forums should only be used for comedic purposes, chatting and talking about trades is only going to ruin you more and sway you from who you are as a trader .

How this week finishes up could be telling for the play next week, a lot of Aussie news next week. Can't imagine any of it being non market moving.

Why is AUD so strong if Australia is about halfway through the unwinding of a mining investment boom?? It doesn't make sense, to me at least, if Australia's economy is heavily reliant on commodities exports, then why does the AUD have been strengthening for the past few days?

Or is today's capital expenditure report a sign of a new beginning in the drop for AUD/USD?

I think you can learn a lot from others, particularly when first starting out. Eg websites to monitor, books to read, different trading strategies, indicators, brokers etc
Once you are experienced it can still help to have your thinking challenged occasionally but it wouldn't be any more than the odd tweak to trading plan. Contrast that to a newbie and most of them probably need a bit of swaying to avoid going 'all in'

As for studying professional athletes you may never replicate them but you can certainly improve your performance through diet, different exercises, strategies, cross training, preparation, persistance, dedication, goal setting and professionalism.
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
