it's good that you remind me to check at daily chart just to know where we are in a HTF. From the chart above I think we're headed towards 1.050. it's quite a zone with strong confluence (harmonics, NSL or strong demand/support, RN). let's see.

anyway, closed at 10 pips. a little scalping just for fun. Don't ever do that if u don't know what your doing. and please forgive me from placing trades that are out of the thread contest.
the only high probability trade are the one with harmonics completed, structure and PA (strength and weakness). If I would have been smart, I should have gone short at 1.0680 as we had harmonics, a good zone (even that killed butterfly before falled in the same area) and above all weakness with the bears.

the thing with that butterfly is that you have another high between Oct - Nov in the chart that u didn't consider as a leg and that was at 61.8%. Careful going long with the long term trend as the trend is still down. If the Feds will increase rates on december we will get a nice spike down and the pair may hit easily (1.0000). My guess is that the pair is headed to 0.9600. but let's see.

even in a 50 tick chart, corresponding to 1 min chart, we can find harmonics, ratios and all the good stuff that Mr.Pip teaches:

ah, i love butterflies so much, especially bearish ones in a strong down trend. but that cute little thing was killed by the shark. damn it.
What do we do with sharks? how do we kill them? (do we trade them???)

Mr. Pip,
i was trading forex last 5 years but recently i read some books on Harmonic trading. It looks very interesting to me then i started to test these. But my initial experience was getting stumbled in some area. could you please guide me?
1) Whenever i tried to sell CD leg getting stopped out most of the time and observing the pair setting a new C and then falling exactly upto the PRZ. How to overcome this?

2) many times i find the price passing through the PRZ tripping SL , even if sometimes it gets a initial bounce from PRZ also coming back and tripping stops.

i trade on basic candlestick signal seeing through 3 timeframes, weekly reverse from overbought / oversold, then followed retarcement in D1 , then followed retracement in H4 and in this condition when W1 and D1 in line, i take trade on H4 allignment.

some charts are attached below: EJ passes through PRZ, EA passes through PRZ, GA passes through PRZ. how to handle those situations?

Hello smarajit, Mr.Pip is probably busy and he hasn't been around since summer. You mention that u have been trading since 5 years now. Well, I suggest first thing u do, is get rid of all indicators, MAs, and anything that has nothing to do with harmonics, ratios and PA. old habits die hard, i know. I was lucky as i had traded only one year caotically, and when i discovered this thread i stopped trading for mmore than 6 months, went through all the stuff in this thread, lerned from others mistakes, and their questions cases, read the books recommended here including YTC price action, saw all the videos and after 3 months trading live, I'm still building my confidense. Nothing is easy in this life. If u want to be successful u have towalk the walk.
But, i can help if u showme your graphs.
