So who here does really well with this strategy? I've automated it in C# but can't get it profitable over the long term it seems. Who wants to tweak it with me as a collab? You should be able to prove that you're trading it successfully.

I agree with you, you need heavy discretion to pick up the trades. Couple of years ago I backtested and forwardtested this strategy with many different options and settings in count, but didnt find any setup for long term profit with blindly following signals ...

What exactly do you mean? At what step is said discretion missing and why do you feel that cannot be automated? Are you talking about news announcements? I might try to get a fundamental data feed and not trade during announcements.

If you would follow all signals blindly, you will not be in a profit in the long run. You have to use your brain and experience over chatrs to choose which signal worths the risk a which not. I'm affraid this experience based discretion is not programable.

Hi there

I've been learning THV for few weeks, can anyone please suggest me is this good to enter short ?
A trix crossed and both turned into red. If not good to enter short what I missed ?

Hey guys,
need little help.
I'm still using the trix v4.
I tryed to search in the thread but i didn't found nothing.
How can i disable the popup?? I'm trading on several pairs on 1 min 5 min tf and i'm going crazy with popups..

Please,try to upload a picture of your trading chart.I think this is not trix alert.I guess you are using THV Trix MTF.If yes,disable alert.

Hello guys,

I'm trying to emulate the trix on Prorealtime. I looked for it on the web but no one did it before.
I'm tying setting the trix indicator of PRT, with 7 periods for the fast trix and 10 for the slow one.
The result is not bad, but not perfect…someone could help me please? I just know that i can emulate the coral with a lwma 60.
I think that this super profitable method deserve to run on another platform too! For me would be the top, first because i'm a mac user and i cannot run windows emulators when i'm at work….second, i know many people that cannot (want not) use the mt4..

Can anyone add to the Cave Manager EA where the TP can be set based on the price plus the spread. For example if the price of the EURUSD is Buy at 2.00000 and sell at 2.00012 which would give me a spread of 12 and i wanted a TP of 10 pips it would automatically set the TP at 22 pips. The spread plus a given number for the TP.
