Yep GBPJPY dived 10 pips deeper, and the range pre-news was clear, whereas USDJPY was quite volatile and bearish which kinda confused me (I got trailled only to 6 pips profit as my entry straddle trades where quite wide) how did your trades go on this one?

Beacuse in this system discription I don't see that : need to close the position in support, need to close in resistense, need to know about trendlines and other bullshit.
The reason is simple : GAMBLING - with good risk-reward-ratio - :-)

After the first spike is over and the news does not have proven to influence the market in a long run it's 50/50 from that point on. That is at least my point of view

+1, hence if you surfed the wave enough next to the big players there is no reason to stay in! (i.e.: right now GBPUSD got back to the pre-news price)

hello all,
new to this thread but it is very interesting. trying to trade based on your strategies but have few problems. appreciate your help.
can you please confirm which method you use?
1. opening order minute before news release with SL and TP limits or opening order after news release?
2. also what is the leverage 1:50 ; 1:100, volume 0.50 ; 1; 10... etc. you use? I assume with 120 TP yours volume should be more that 1 or 2. in some posts from master @vvFish I saw that he has gigantic volumes, mostly 50 in each open order.

I JAFO'd (Just Another @#%#ing Observer) because I was focused on my business and discouraged by EUR and GBP hopping in early Asia. The move was pretty clean for a stop entry above. One variation of the strategy is to trade it that way.

NEVER MIND REALLY - I didn't look at a chart with the offer plotted. Some points could have been gained though.

How is it that Europe is not conquered every day throughout history?
