SL, despite it name, should be a positive number, that's why yours didn't worked, and while the TP was OK, the bad SL made it fail.

I have just fixed the TP/SL +/- buttons to not allow negative numbers so this will be fixed to avoid miss understandings.

That sounds like a good idea.
however, I have received reports of issues on the news component so first of all I have to make it confident.
Just FYI, reports were related to orders placed before the time to wait after news release time.
Lucky, reports also stated that no orders were placed in the time to hold before news (at least by now)

Here's another pre-release of what I have as of now (not sure if it will reach a real release stage though).

Further instructions in included README file (replace all existent files).

Some of the reported bugs fixed (i.e. the MA issue reported by fuenwood) and other minor ones I've found.
Sadly, the reported issue related to news (placing orders during the hold after news time, with the [N]ews header enabled and red [N] int the respective pair row) is intact, so it needs more testing to try to find what's wrong with it. While doing a visual review of the code I didn't found anything looking bad yet, BTW I'll keep an eye on it since I want it to be confident or not to be.

I have also added some toys to try and test if they worth being improved.. like a GAP alerts counter (needs work and fine tuning yet... I'm thinking on adding a sort of buffer in time before increasing count and to use as filter like... to place an order only after N alerts in the same direction... or after a change in GAP direction is detected or so.. open to ideas).
Another toy to play with is something to allow the dashboard to receive alerts of external indicators in other charts. To achieve this, the required indicator(s) should be adapted to allow inter-operation with the dashboard. A good sample scenario for that would be to import alerts exported from something like MADdash., btw, AFAIK, it doesn't export it alerts and it source code is not available to be adapted. Anyway, it doesn't have to be an MTF indicator (better if it is, of course.. less chart windows), it can be any indicator on any regular pair chart window. This feature is immature and still under heavy-development and is not enabled by default since it needs indicators to be adapted and it stills doesn't work as a filter to auto-trade yet, it only shows alerts provided by adapted indicators loaded in other chart windows by now.

Last, the H|D|N boxes at the left of the Currencies/Basket block are only representative by now and will not show anything in this version.

Keep in mind that despite it has [Auto] and an [Auto][R]everse modes, it is not recommended at all to use in any of these modes in Real accounts. If you do so, use at your own risk.
Of course, [Auto] and [Auto][R]everse modes can be freely tested and used in Demo, because it is the way to go to try to find good settings to be used in Real, keeping in mind that Demo and Real are not always on the same page.

PS: I found a major bug in candles highlighting that ended up being "easy" to fix so here's an update. Just replace the EA with the new one after having done the install of the first package.

maddash have a setting called "generate global variables".
do your GAP settings mean it is separated for double GAP or base and quote currency?
I would like have it for 2 TFs and include in automode.

Good to know, I'll check for that feature in it latest version to see how it works.
About your GAP settings question, if you meant the new column with counters, as of now, these are related to up and down direction.

PS: I have double checked MADdash and I can see that it generates global variables related to currency strength by time-frame (very good finding btw). I'll see if there's something new there during alert times. (update: There's a MADdash alert on GBPNZD right now but I can't find a global variable representing that)

PS2: To whom downloaded latest dashboard and haven't noticed it already, I have attached a bug fix update to the same post here.

Slowly but surely this thread is drifting away from it's original idea about a simple dashboard with gap trading and has become more and more about how to show a lot of less useful information in fancy colors into a single screen.

Programming is getting better though (that's for you aeseme).

when the h4 candle is new those candle directions become worthless and flip back and forth with every single pip.
Better is to show an fast MA which would give better trend indications
