GN is a high volatile pair. It has high ADR about 300 pips. Easily moves between 100 to 200 pips. BE is a psychological part for me. Understanding it's behavior is important. Requires large SL and often comes back to it's starting point even after moving 50 60 pips. Everyday learning new things about this pair.

Well i m not that much good on teaching plz follow what some great trader ( Phx62,Likica,Omonisha,Davit,LW, EMU,TSS,GS ) advise & how they manage trade .

There is lots of way to determine trend like : HH,HL/LH,LL or swing high/ low (please check Omonisha post above ) & also by using 200 EMA or some others EMA to determine trend .

I look for TDI CROSSES (overbought or oversold) & PRICE ACTION ( PCRF ,Pin bars, Master bars, Inside bars, OB etc.. )to entry a trade ...

As Omonisha gave you a good demontration when price making new lows/new high, ....and Pips92 gave you some good tips about price actions...
Here is my EU m30 chart today which had a good bearish view (down trend on M30). I was waiting for TDI to cross for a short sell (before news), noticing that 10EMA was below 50EMA and 50EMA was below 200EMA, and price was making lower highs.
I entered on the candle I marked with vertical line when price broke below recent lows and TDI fully crossed down without waiting for that candle to complete.
Remember to trade away from 200EMA & DOL

Hi hsn100,
I am not sure what made you short sell since I did not see any sign of bears to go short from M30 nor H1 nor H4, where TDI way too overbought. We don't know when it will go down ( it will eventually go down but not atm and don't want to sit with large draw down).

Lots of traders got mixed up between day trading and position building, as the result they suffered with psychological and financial damages. Decide what kind of trader we are and design a trading plan to suit our trading style and stick with it.

On Unemployment numbers
Lots of spin doctoring going on here 5% is highly inaccurate number.
in US if you get unemployment benefits you are counted as unemployed however once 3-6 months benefits expires you are no longer counted as unemployed! When you add everyone who is not working and working part time that want full time number is closer to 10%
far higher then what is being sold.Its obvious Feds want to raise IR and will do everything to paint everything rosy.
Won't surprise me if Feds start downplaying IR next week.Reaction on currencies has been staggering.If this continues say goodbye to US export sector and US oil industry.

Pivot3 is an excellent indicator. But I've found in my trading that 38% is the weakest of the bunch. So, I don't expect strong bounce here and there is resistance at 0.7150 and I've put limit sell there. EG is now in downtrend for sure.
Still we both could make green pips from our opposite trades.

When you say trade away from DOL, are you particular with the number of candlesticks or should the candlestick not touch the DOL?

In this case, where should the entry be? On the first vertical line or second?
